It's time we start chasing these lies out of the corner and shedding some of the light of truth on them.

I'll start with an prime example:

They say, "A watched pot never boils."  Bulloni.  I watched a pot of water come to a boil once.  Lies, lies, and more lies.

    I've never heard that saying before, but I have heard "staring at a pot of water will not get it to boil faster".
