The Patriots aren't guaranteed to win anything. They could however make steps towards SB #7 by winning in Buffalo. Something that's going to be very hard for them to do today. We shall see though. Peace

Should be an interesting week off to the west in Buffalo, always a tough place to play. Neither team has played anybody this year, probably cause there’s not many teams to play. It’s a down year for the league with so many good qb’s going down early in the season. And the product is a bit tough to watch with the inclusion of the new rules.
The Patriots are a little banged up and they have a tendency to fall victim to blowing a meaningless game or two early in the season playing down to their opponent’s level. They’ve ran all of what seems to be 10 different offensive plays from the playbook thru the first three weeks. They’re coasting. Get Edelman some reps today. I can see the Pats winning big making a statement on the road. Can also see them winning by 4 or losing by 10. That’s why they play the games.

Buffalo's D is for real, their offense I'm not so sure. I expect a low scoring affair. Probably like 20-10.
Not too far off. Gostkowski has to go.
Replace Gost with who? Missing those PATs is all between the ears. He won’t miss another one this year. Book it.
gonna have to find someone :sniff:

You nailed that prediction.
Just get someone who is accurate inside 45 yards or so. Bailey and the D are solid enough that I can see them taking more chances on 4th down outside of that territory, or just elect to punt and pin.
I want to know the air pressure in those K balls. Any ball that's put into play really. Is the ball soft? Is it overinflated? Internal temperature. I want to know. Fuck the fantasy stats. I want a "ball crawl"...®
Good kickers are hard to replace. They're all head cases.
If you watch the WHOLE episode, and listen very carefully, you'll know why that Gruden boy signed him.
At one point I felt bad for the Raiders with how AB screwed them over... but once I stepped back & thought about how they brought in him, Burfict & Incognito, and bragged about how you can't just have boy scouts on your team I realized they got exactly what they asked for.
And I know the Patriots are complaining and trying to withhold bonus money from AB.... but same thing. Like nobody realized this guy was an un-hinged and a cloud of trouble. They couldnt help themselves and it blew up on them a bit.
Incognito is actually a good, charming guy when he is straight-up, on his meds, or whatever. He just melts down, goes off his meds, experiences extreme paranoia. Pair that up with being enormously wealthy and bigger and stronger than pretty much anyone else in the world, that is a disaster. He is crazy and needs help.
He blamed his behavior on weed ( said no one who acted like that, ever ), drinking alcohol, and no sleep. I blame it on being a roided up asshole, but what do I know?

I didn't love NE bringing in AB, but besides a few million dollars in salary / cap space, what did they risk? The respect & admiration of fans around the country? That ship sailed a long time ago.
(also it was worth it to see so many sports reporters melt down publically over the move... Patriots Derangement Syndrome is real, and it's fantastic)
I kind of admire them saying F everyone, we're going for #7.

Yeah, that's the million dollar question, with whom do you replace him?
The fact is he's been a top three kicker 4 of the last 5 seasons, and that 5th year he was still in the top 5.
You won't find anyone better than him at this point, you just have to hope he figures it out, which I think he will.
Peace
