How hard is it to pack a lab coat, a uke and four guitars?  ;)

Apparently it's easier to pack those items than to tour the U.S. ;-)

He did for the South Africa concert recently though, right?  And that's a lot further to travel than London.

The Wembley Stadium where Live Aid and Fredd8ie Mercury tribute were held was torn down in the early 2000's. They built a whole new one on top of it.
True, but its exactly the same layout, albeit slightly larger and on the same patch of land.

Unfortunately it's a pass from me.
Wembley stadium is the absolute worst for gigs, the sound is terrible, and as main support you know people will be talking all through his set.
Fingers crossed for some other solo dates
Damn I was thinking this was the arena but I was wrong.  So this place is huuuuuuge?
    easy pass.

Wembley stadium is where live aid was held, the freddie mercury tribute concert, and it's the national football stadium. My football team (soccer) has been playing there for 2 seasons whilst our new stadium is being built and I refuse to go as I hate it so much. I have a season ticket and get the money back for each game rather than going. It sucks the atmosphere out of football matches and is a bitch to get to.
TBH I'm not really a fan of Wembley arena either. O2 is the only decent indoor arena in London
Tough loss for the spurs the other day..
Which one. Chelsea or Crystal Palace??
    Hahahahahaa
    :(

So part of me is really excited about this because I love The Who and I love EV’s love of The Who, but the other part of me is worried because it continues to seem like Ed is doing whatever he can do to NOT be in the studio or with the rest of the guys to get creative, and that thought is kind of sad.

Anyone else feeling this way or am I just super negative?

Its the tail end of January and this show is in July. For all anyone on this board knows, they could have the whole month of February booked to work in the studio. Or not, could be March. Or April even  Either way, this show is still months away. And I don't think  would be in the studio in the summer anyway.

Wow. I don’t think it has ever been any less inspiring or unexciting to be a Pearl Jam fan. Eddie pretty much does everything he can to NOT do shows with the rest of the guys.  I know I’ll get bashed for this but this is just one huge yawn for me.  I’m glad there’s so much fresh, exciting stuff in the music world with the up and comers, because this is just starting to get sad.
I hear ya. When I read the email I practically yawned. I'm glad it's nowhere near me because I would honestly be tempted, just to see Eddie, but I still would end up not going. I have about as much interest in seeing the Who in a giant stadium as I do the Rolling Stones. I don't know how any of those bands can't be interested in creating new music. Isn't that the exciting part? To each their own.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2

Can’t stand the Kaiser Chiefs and although it may be heresy on here but I’m not that keen on The Who either, plus the fact that Wembley has a sound akin to playing in a toilet then I’m giving this one a miss and hoping that he’s not coming over with all his gear for a one off show🙏🏻
