Top 3 things you would like to see/do before this ride is all over

PJNBPJNB Posts: 12,754
Lots of crazy talk about it all ending soon. I think they have a lot left to give. What are your top things you still would love to see from this band.

1. Hearing Hard To Imagine and Parting Ways. My wife's white whale and my white whale. Both songs that we enjoy a lot together.
2. Seeing them play at Red Rocks or The Gorge
3. Seeing them play at MSG and Philly on the same tour

I am in agreement on your #2

    1. I'd like to see them do a run, don't care what size venues they do, where it is more like Benaroya Hall.  Jeff has mentioned more than 1 time that he has wanted the band to do a full on tour like this.

    3. Seeing them play in more obscure places - Worcester, Moline, Spokane, things of that nature.

Crazy talk is absolutely right! As for the top 3 things I'd like to see...
    1. In Hiding & Dissident live.  My favorite song and another top 5.  Haven't experienced either one.
    3. The Gorge

    1. See a full acoustic show in a smallish indoor venue
    2. Same as OP: Catch a show (or two...or three) at Red Rocks and/or The Gorge
    3. See them play in a country outside the U.S.

    ....while we're making wishlists....
    4. Follow them across +/-five consecutive cities during a proper tour
    5. Party like it's 1999 with a bunch of you mother scratchers at PJ40 weekend
    6. Have my mind melted by studio album #15 released circa 2032

    1. Road trip following them to multiple destinations on a US tour. Preferably in a camper or VW bus

    2. See them play in Europe

    3. Finally get rail in front of Mike or Ed.

    4. Take my daughter to her first Pearl Jam SHOW

For my completed bucket list items, I saw them play in Central Park and Seattle which were always dreams of mine; and I got really close in Detroit, Lexington and Seattle, but really want a spot on the rail at least once. Seeing TOTD in San Francisco was also one I checked off.

    (1)  I know the vitriol for the baseball stadium shows, but I'd like to see them play AT&T Park in San Francisco (honorable mention to Petco Park in San Diego).
    (2)  One more definitive, five-star, late-career studio album.
    (3)  Super Bowl Halftime Show.

I would really like to see PJ at MSG. I'm quite sure that I won't, as it is way too expensive, but that's what I'd like.
And yes, I would really really really really really really like at least one more really good album out of them. It's been over a decade since that happened.
I would very much love to see a fully acoustic PJ show in a theatre... Champagne wishes and caviar dreams for sure, lol.

Three things I'd like to see do before [or after, as the case may be] this ride is all over (i.e. when PJ is done)?

    1.  Win the lottery
    2.  When #1 happens, donate million of dollars to Sea Shepherds and Wildlands Network
    3.  With what's left over from #1, buy a Greek Island.

Buy a Greek island OR buy a Greek an island? Dimi may be curious.

LOL.   I'd buy Dimi a cruiser so he can come and visit.

I'd like to see Who You Are live.  From the first 5 albums it's the only song (not including weird interlude tracks) that I've never heard live.

Red Rocks would be amazing.   Unfortunately I think the Venue might be too small to be a reality.

If PJ ever played Hawaii again.  I'd probably go because I've always wanted to go there.

Witnessing "Release" live is a must - arguably their most important song to hear live...Not too sure what I mean by "important" but hopefully you get my drift. I was over the moon when I saw it for the first time last summer in Seattle.

    Happy New Year everyone...

    1. A string of Canadian tour stops in the western provinces.

    2. Enough western shows so I can economically take each child to their own individual show.

    3. Said children finally recognize and appreciate why PJ is so important.
