Vault Series question
Does anyone know who picks the shows that they release? Just asking because I know for a fact there are plenty of shows the band has played that are a million times better than the stuff thats getting released. I heard the new Vault #8 show and its mediocre at best. At this point I'd love for them to release a "classic" show (i.e. Atlanta 94, Randalls Island 96, MSG 98.etc.) but then I'd be worried it would be incomplete for some reason. I love the sound and the packaging of these records, hopefully the next release will be a great performance as well.

Definite NO to any of the massively circulated pre-FM bootlegs.

anything 96 would be perfect.
St. Paul 2014 • Mexico City 2015 • Philadelphia II 2016 • Ottawa 2016 • Amsterdam I & II 2018 • Wrigley Field II 2018 • Phoenix 2022
Apollo Theater 2022 • Chicago I 2023 • Baltimore 2024
Compared to other artists - like e.g. Neil Young who's been mixing up how to do concerts through his career. He's played acoustic and electric, and he's done some tours where he's implemented some unique elements. Even something like using a choir for a tour etc.
So what I'm saying is -- RERELEASE BENAROYA!
For me? Not worth it.

Soldier Field was nice because it was upgrade off the tinny and shallow MONO-FM releases. It was a huge bummer that it was incomplete.
