I have never seen The Lion King. :i_dunno:
Aye-yi-yi. Were you locked in a basement in the 90's? You and Scruffy may need to get together to watch the essentials. Stock up on ice first though.
Never had a desire to see it. Definitely not locked in a basement in the 90's.  The 2000's, on the other hand...

  • A few movies that got/get me choked up:
    E.T.
    An American Tail
    Field of Dreams
    A League of Their Own
    Rudy
    Before Sunrise
    Braveheart
    Forrest Gump
Just about every Pixar film (and I haven't even seen the Toy Stories... *hides*)
    The Iron Giant
    Good Will Hunting
    Of Mice And Men
The Notebook  (fuck the haters, I like this movie!)
    I Am Sam
    Benny and Joon

Nope. I know I would like them, it's really just a case of never getting around to it.  I love Pixar films, have seen most (save for a couple sequels) but just never took the time for Toy Story/~2/~3.

    C. Thomas Howell movies were mediocre at best. Shame what Hollywood did to SE Hinton novels.
Yeah, but Ralph Macchio and Matt Dillon saved The Outsiders, for me at least.
  • Where is your list, Hobbes? We're waiting, macho man.

I forgot that was directed by Coppola and had an amazing cast.  I might have to watch that one again. I remember the Ponyboy/Johhny scenes being really cheesy.  One of the partners in a law office I worked in had a Mercedes with a "staygld" license plate.

Any chance he just really liked Mr. T?

In light of this new evidence, I'm starting to reconsider my stance on this movie. Court is in recess until I hide, and then adjourned once I escape.
