What is your Holy Grail for PJ collecting?

The Chief poster. That makes me scratch my head. You mean to tell me you like a poster that has 2 colors on it?Karljam18 said:Been slowly chipping away to collect some of the smaller grails before I start going after the larger, more impossible ones. Had a line on a slightly corner damaged Munk One Adelaide (with the Koalas driving the Mad Max car) on eBay and WAS the high bidder for the last 2 hours until it got snatched away from me in the dead of night while I was asleep...like some lurking Stephen King monster. No worries though. It's the hunt for the grails and, one day (maybe) the acquisition that makes it so much fun.
What's the one grail out there that make people scratch their heads to say "Really? That one?"
It is a top 10 PJ poster because so many people love it, or do they love it because it's expensive now?0

at this point probably the Fargo 2003 poster. I owned it once, made the mistake of block mounting it, then ended up selling it. now i want it back, but it's crazy expensive (for me anyway)Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Chicago 2000 poster. Only show I've been to for which I don't have the poster. And while I could afford it, (A) seems it's available maybe once every 3 years, and (B) I say could but should is another matter entirely.Official sponsor of the "PJ__" Campaign (does it matter what year? --let's just celebrate anyway!)0

I know it'll never happen, but I'd like to be a friend of one of the band members -- even if I only got to speak with him once a year.0

Awaiting something in the next few weeks that could possibly be considered my grail. I’ll post when it’s here!0

Landed one today. Kong is the other
discovered thanks to D, that the Klausen signature and numbering is that this was 2/3 printers proof. Didn’t know that when I got it

 Wetlands 91
 CBGB 91
 Roseland 91
 and many, many more0

Bought the GITD PJ 20 from Amoeba back in March...had been eyeing it for some time. Bonus money came in and Amoeba got paid. Followed Mark’s guidance on chasing the Philippine Daughter and acquired it in the spring as well. The two PJ20 posters were much easier in comparison and came before the vinyl. Pretty stoked to have made this much progress, so why not load up again.dcp3y said:Grails:
Vinyl: GITD PJ20 - still waiting on one the band members to gift me mine as a friend of the band - lol
Poster: 2013 Chicago Ames Harry Carey Variant (would need the 2018 one, too, if ever attained - lol) - was online trying the moment they went on sale and struck out for both variants
 More pragmatic/ attainable-for-me list:
Vinyl: Philippines Daughter 7” (been searching for years - zero opportunities)
Poster: PJ20 Ames and or Klausen (passed over at the shows - had a great opportunity then and just need to overcome price inertia now)Reassessing now: passing on poster variants like Harry Carey’s
 Top shelf...
 Poster: Wrigley 2013 Mural
 Vinyl: Vs Colombia Blue
 More attainable shelf:
Poster: Ames TOTD San Fran AP (sole missing one for three poster set)
Vinyl: Matt Cameron Cavedweller blue/black variant (have a spare “All The Way” 7” if anyone wants to trade) 0 0

For me, 1998 Minneapolis, MN poster. Awesome show, got my 10C membership the next day. I bid on a couple over the years but I would never go over $500.00 . . . silver lining is all my posters were sold down in Dallas (4) by my ex-wife and her druggie boyfriend at the time and that one would have gone with the bunch.St. Paul, MN - 08/28/1992
