Has anyone ever had a Twitter account (I reuse to call it X=LOL) in your name without creating an account? (That happened to me. Unless I did something wrong and added it?) I have an account but not in my name. I only use Tweeter for sports and music updates.

Does anyone know how to Delete Twitter?  I can't seem to locate on Twitter how.

I opened a new account last week for one specific purpose, after deleting that dumpster fire months ago. I couldn't do it. I had to delete it again-it's just maga now. that's all it is. idiots spewing bullshit.

Just click on your avatar/picture, go to edit profile, choose account info I think it is, then deactivate account.

Thanks, but it's asking for a password that I have NO clue what it is since I didn't create this account. I'll see what I can come up with later. I don't want to accidently delete my other account.

Thanks, to both of you, for the info.

Yeah, I don't know much about TikTok, other than that the CPC uses it for data mining.
If that serious problem can be resolved, I say let the people have TikTok - many seem to really enjoy it.

Trump was the OG “ban tik tok”. In typical trump fashion, a complete flip flop.

I'll guess because he had a lot of "likes" and "Views" on Post that were favorable to him?

If we can't solve the problem of China collecting and minding our data for use it techno-warfare in the future, I also say let the people have it.   They do enjoy it so yeah that line of thinking totally checks out.  We wouldn't want the kids to be a little sad that they have to go to one of the plentiful other options.

    Genius logic.

That's what happens when one of his biggest donors, Jeffrey Yass, owns 8% of Bytedance.  I'm sure the fact that he came out against the ban right after a meeting with Yass is just a coincidence.

Yeah well it's a bullshit argument.  For us to agree to let TIKTOK operate here and X in China is great for Elon but not so much for American security.  That doesn't solve the problem.  Musk is acting like it's a "fairness" issue.  Fuck fair.

I'd also argue that it didn't work for MAGA, it just works within MAGA.

Turn out the lights. What, pray do tell, are Elongitaint’s “aims”?

In his new role, Musk appears to have vast access to the inner workings of government that far exceeds the plan as initially conceived. The DOGE leader, also the chief executive of one company that has won billions of dollars in federal contracts and others that have faced significant federal scrutiny, will be able to deploy a team of handpicked software engineers to every government agency, where under Trump’s executive order they will be granted “full and prompt access to all unclassified agency records, software systems, and IT systems.” (Musk already has a White House email address, according to Bloomberg News.) Armed with sensitive data, Musk could draw on expertise gathered from his business empire — including deploying artificial intelligence — to achieve his aims, people familiar with the matter said.
