Are you saying Oliver Zipse is an anti-semite like Musk?

I think DE is referencing Berlin Motor Werks making engines in WWII

I was pointing out another logical fail where something from 80 years ago is samesies to present time.

I would imagine it's worse, regardless of the time difference.

It’s not a 1:1 comparison when you’re talking about present time company boycotts. If you want to pull in history you’re not going to be consuming much or traveling much.

It’s kind of like saying the country of Germany itself is still the same entity it was in ww2.

Okay. Then how is 2025 BMW the same as ww2 era BMW? And does this include their US manufacturing plant in South Carolina? Also, Henry Ford was a total jagoff, so is Ford included in the boycott?

Tangentially related, but if you want to read about another beloved company with an awful history, find a book called IBM and the Holocaust.

I'm rereading my posts and I'm not seeing the call to boycott BMW (and now Ford).  I'm not anti-Tesla or BMW (or now Ford). I don't believe two different things need to be "the same" to be bad or have an expiration date on those bad things.

The boycott issue was introduced prior to that. So how does 2025 BMW compare to 2025 Musk regarding “problematic” issues?

You are making an argument up in your head rather than based on comments I've posted. 🤷‍♂️

Big sigh. “Gotta be more problematic nazi wise than a Musk vehicle” is present tense. It’s very rare for someone to associate current BMW with ww2 BMW. It’s not rare to associate 2025 Musk with Tesla, since he’s the current ceo.

First of all - I have a BMW and love it.

Second of all - I applaud your use of Jagoff.

I’m originally from the Midwest, and no one out west says it. I miss it - it reminds me of my Chicago friends.
