Ugh. I've been trying to figure out for ages who really sings that song, but it doesn't even really matter to me because it's such an incredible song. One of the saddest songs I've ever heard....I don't care if it was Simple Plan singing it (okay, maybe a little...) because it's that good....Oh well.

Eddie and Jerry Cantrell have NEVER EVER performed this song, it's a myth. No matter how many versions you've heard, one voice or two, IT'S NOT THEM.

I was gonna say the same thing: its a mislabel of a Downface song Alone.
Look them up on myspace, they sound pretty cool, and their influences are PJ and AIC...hence the confusion.
