Sinema up by 1.7%.  Lead is growing.  She's up by 4%!! in Maricopa, and that's with a Green candidate on the ballot.  I'm really not sure how McSally closes the gap in the small counties that are left.  And Trump is busy blaming the Democrats for the 600 pt Dow drop.

The ride is ending.  By 2020, we'll be in a recession and Trump will have zero levers to pull to get us out of it. That's what happens when you cut taxes during a Bull market.  Doi...
And most american voters will believe it when they blame the demicratic house. You, and the people here, do not represent the average voter.  Most are low info voters, not wonks actually thinking about shit

Easy answer... socialism is the bumper sticker that describes the candidate to most... it's the same noose around Bernies neck... the bumper sticker isnt always a good thing, it can be a bad thing.

No matter what she does, or what Bernie does, the immediate label (bumper sticker) in most peoples heads applied to them will be "Socialist"

Why do you think Trump gives opponents names mocking them? They are bumper stickers and they work. He's branding his oppenents, and it sticks. Just ask Pocahontas

Does anybody remember Hillary's policy platform? I dont, and i voted for her. That tells me most dont remember or never really knew. Her platform was "i'm not him".... but EVERYBODY remembers Crooked Hillary, and always will

Yep, we've gotten to a point where immature, uncreative, name-calling has become a sound political strategy. And heck, you can even do a complete 180 and it's okay. Ted Cruz was "Lyin' Ted", the son of the man that helped murder JFK, during the 2016 primary, and now he's a "tremendous Senator."

You still have not formulated any advice or strategy going forward. Are you saying that Dems should start creating abusive nicknames for opponents?  No thanks.  Should they lie 15 to 20 times in every speech?  No thanks.  It seems like you are saying that Trump's way is the right way forward for the Dems and I'm saying 'fuck that'.  MAGA worked...for a while.  So did "Tippecanoe and Tyler too" and "I Like Ike".  Slogans are great but there has to be a set of meaningful ideas behind them.  That's what I'm saying.  I don't hear you saying the same.  You are just blowing off actual governing.

This has been going on before Trump, but this is definitely a VERY amplified version we are seeing, no doubt

Fair point Watson, but it doesnt fly when black voter turnout dropped 7% and union household support in the midwest crateted and flipped.

Here is where policy worked. Trumps stance on NAFTA is likely why that midwestern union support flipped, and his auto and steel tarrifs are why he will he hard to beat in the region in 2020

    Nothing is an absolute

It also isn't your job to 'analyze' why they lost by 10k votes in Michigan, but you took that upon yourself.  Curious why you stopped there.
I don't mean to be disparaging here but it's going to come across that way, so I apologize in advance.

No shit they lost blue collar workers.  It doesn't take an election genius to figure that out.  It's much more difficult to figure out what would bring them back into the fold, and if the Democrats are willing to take those steps.

In at least three states, Republicans lost the popular vote but won the House

Majorities of voters in at least three battleground states — Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina — chose a Democrat to represent them in the state’s House of Representatives. Yet in all three states, Republicans maintained majority control over the chamber despite winning only a minority of votes.

Democrats’ blue wave was much larger than early takes suggested

With all votes counted, it’s a larger landslide than 1994 or 2010.

Harder wins in CA last night, so yet another pickup.  Mimi Walters is likely to go down too.
The Republicans have lost Orange County for God's sake.
