I just paid $300 for a single Eagles ticket

Is it going to be worth it?

  • Yes. Unless it's the Philadelphia Eagles, then no.

I think you’ll enjoy the show. The songs hold up for sure. I saw them several years ago and appreciated the musicianship and vocals.

For me, I do struggle to consider a group without Frey as the Eagles.

With Glenn Frey, about $200 too much.

    Without....$250.00 too much.

"Going where the water tastes like wine!"
  • i remember buying a ticket a mile from the stage for their first hell freezes over tour in the early-mid 1990's
it was my first $100 ticket...
last time i saw the eagles i went for the opening act. the dixie chicks.
i paid $275 to see elton john on his new/last tour recently
maybe it will be the eagles last tour as well ?
have fun and don't worry about the money...just go see a bunch of club shows for $25/ticket and it will all balance itself out in the end  :)
  • Op don't feel bad.  I paid $350 a ticket to see David Byrne.  I was send row center but still the priciest ticket I've ever purchased.
  • Was there some official statement from the remaining members about carrying on?

Ah, nevermind. I see what they did. I had no idea Henley was the only original remaining member.

Henley called paramedics to his home on November 21, 1980, where a 16-year-old girl was found naked and claiming she had overdosed on quaaludes and cocaine. She was arrested for prostitution, while a 15-year-old girl found in the house was arrested for being under the influence of drugs. He was subsequently charged for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, fined and put on probation.[75][76][77] Henley was arrested and pleaded no contest. He was fined $2,500 and put on two years' probation.[78]
