Dumbest thing I've seen in sports in a long while...you have 6 point lead and all the momentum...let's call a timeout...a momentum killer...just dumb.
That's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.  Why on earth do you call a timeout there?!?!?  They had the Warriors on the ropes and were about to finish them with the crowd going insane..  Absurd timeout.
while I think coach Nurse has been great these whole playoffs, that was the worst call he made.  I also didn't understand why they didn't call a time out before the last play.
I have yet to see the media cover that bonehead call.  I think Toronto will be hosting game 7 because of that call.

I did not check ESPN out...so you got me there.

again I was at the game and the fans were not cheering the injury.  watch the whole play and even after the play when they were chanting his name and gave him a standing ovation.
That's the thing that was not covered by ABC that the Raptors went down and scored...you were there...

Am I just seeing things in these people waving goodbye to him?

Quentin Richardson, remember him?, was talking about this today.

Good for him.  He was a disappointment for me as a player.  He was around for 13 years?  Crazy huh?

To play devil's advocate, they may have been cheering Serge's steal and fast-break. Once it was obvious that Durant was seriously injured, the atmosphere seemed to change.

So this guy knew at the moment of the injury that it was an achilles and not a re-injure of the calf.  I call total bullshit.

I've been in far too many sports arenas in my life, across the country, not to call bullshit on all of these sanctimonious people that had no horse in this race.

    Couple things.

It's a lot more than one guy waving, even if he is the one zoomed in on.

Just because everyone is dipshits, doesn't make it okay to be a dipshit.  I was once a dipshit, though I don't think I would have ever cheered an injury, so I get it. I am a reformed dipshit though, so while I am a huge sports fan, I also realize it's just fucking sports and that people getting hurt playing sports kinda sucks.

Agree on both.  My point isn't that it's okay, it's that there isn't a fan base in the country that would have been different at that precise moment, in that precise situation.

If that isn't mockery, I don't know what is.  Terrible.  Glad the Jays got humbled in 2015.  Raptors need it now. Even other NBA players were tweeting last night calling the fans out.  It's a disgusting display of character.  They cheered and mocked his injury.  There's no other way to dress it up. Go Dubs!

Oh well, that's life...if fans were cheering the injury they have to live with it...

The dude has made 326 million in his career...he survives even if he has to stay with GS.

The dipshit part is debatable I mean c'mon, I'm still an asshole...

Oh yeah. There is a big difference between a dipshit and an asshole. I am definitely an asshole, but no longer a dipshit.

I hear you, but I guess we don't know for sure because it happened to Toronto.  I don't really remember the last time something like this happened.

Again, I don't think you can just say that KD got injured and then the crowd cheered.  while I was not in the front rows, i did have a somewhat good view of the play and this is what I saw.  KD had the ball and Ibaka tipped it away.  KD fell and Ibaka was going down the court for the score.  I for one was cheering the raptors going down for the score.  You then had Danny Green and Lowery tell the fans to stop cheering (again I believe Cheering for the play not the injury).  When the fans saw that KD was really hurt there was a silence in the building.

I understand your point of view and trust me I have alot of issues with many Toronto sports fans (infact I only like the raptors as a Toronto team) I think there is a difference when you are watching a game on TV and watching a game live and I can tell you that while yes some assholes were cheering KD being hurt 99% percent were not cheering the injury and I think standing oviation and chanting KD name in respect shows that.

I thought both were reasonable.  But, I think your explanation makes the most sense...now at least the Raptors can prepare for Thursday knowing Durant is out...

They are both correct.  It's the same point I was making earlier.  It's not unique to Toronto.

Like I said they were reasonable...Fife was in the stands and I am taking his word for...I think the fans were cheering the turnover and the basket and most were cheering that...want to stop those boneheads that do these things ban alcohol and replace it with a perfectly harmless Cannabis...same results, without the stupidity that some get with alcohol...

KD has a most likely, torn Achilles.

Now the Knicks will actually get him...

Dumb timeout by the Raptors coach.  Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Kawhi needs to take that last shot.  Lowry ending it would have made a great story but they only needed a 2 pointer.
I haven't heard an official report but the as of last night the GSW do believe its torn.

I was taking Knicks Rumor with a grain of salt. Remember EVERY Talking Head had Paul George in a Lakers uniform.

I didn't get the TO either. Draymond Green said, basically, it helped his team to get ther shit together.  Kawhi was hot so why stop the Big Mo they had going?

Yeah, Kawhi needs to take that shot but i do give GSW credit for doubleing him near the foul line to force him to pass the ball. But, i think Raptors still had one TO left? If so, maybe call a TO?

I do think blow should be legalized because I do not see the point ruining a life with a criminal record over a personal choice.  Maybe most drugs should be decriminalized and all effort focused on traffickers.  Buts it's clear to me that the war on drugs is a huge failure...even though Cannabis legalization in Canada is off to a rocky start, and I've been legal for 6 years (I have never been pinched), it's nice to know that no more people will be banned from the US because of getting charged for toking.

Decriminalization is working well in Portugal...
