I remember Lebron doing this when he was wearing the 6's.  This became my favorite shoe and my favorite player after watching him give his kicks to a kid fan.  I believe they were the Chalks which has become my favorite Lebron colorway.

It really is great that the pros are doing this.

I wish I had put money on that Finals!  I was totally just talking out of my ass, but I called the winner of every game before the series started! That was a great series, all games within 10 pts, a lot of back & forth within each game.  No snoozefest 30 point blowouts like the last few years.

That was a great story.  All of the sneaker giveaway stories are great though.

I always wondered why they didn't do this more.

I did, passed it on to a few folks at work as well.  The part on Westbrook cracked me up, totally fits his style.  Definitely enjoy seeing this kind of stuff become more and more the norm.
