Nah fuck that. People pay good money to go to NBA games. And many travel to see a player the caliber of Lebron. When I was young, my father and I used to travel all the time to see the Bulls play at various east coast arenas (Sixers, Nets, Bullets, Knicks) and it was really like going to see a concert. Now, if Jordan or Pippen were injured, there's nothing you can do about that. But shutting a player down because you're going to miss the playoffs? Fucking lame, but par for the course for today's NBA.

This is where today's NBA has gone soft. All this shutting down players for the season and missing games for load management. What an absolute crock of crap. No issue where there is a genuine injury, but most of these end of season shutdowns are horsecrap
Lebron wants to be in the GOAT conversation, but can't play a full season. Lebron has only played over 80 games in the regular season 3 times. Jordan played 80 or more games in every regular season bar his second season(Long term injury), his first comeback season, his second comeback season with Wizards and Played 78 games in the 92/93 season with Bulls. He even played 82 games in his last season with the Wizards. He understood that the FANS (most important people in the game) wanted to see him when his team came to town.

And he gave max effort to the bitter end, at age 40, with fucked-up knees. Compare that to LeBron's effort on defense this year.

Exactly!! That's why I laugh when the comparisons happen. He does not have 50% of Jordan's killer instinct.
Yes, Lebron is an All Time great and Top 5 player to most people, but there's a gap that he will never close to Jordan. All this crap about 9 Finals appearances, he was coming through the East where half of the teams who made the playoffs had a 50% record or worse.

I always would get mad at Lebron because he didn't have that killer instinct. If he had what Kobe and Jordan had he'd have won 8 championships.
What else I'm sad about is Lebron was an all defensive great. I loved when he chased down a fast break and denied a layup. I don't see that anymore...
I am one of the biggest Lebron supporters and loved him for years but it's starting to wane...
Lebron has been too concerned with his "Legacy" for a long time. I think he is an incredible player and a wonderful and involved member in community and helping others. His charitable work is brilliant, as is his willingness to be vocal on issues in the community
But purely from a basketball standpoint, I don't think I ever heard Jordan/Bird/Kareem/Magic ever talk about being the GOAT or worry about all time points etc during their careers. Lebron seems to be in a mode of conserving himself to prolong his career as long as possible instead of playing every season as though it may be his last. The last few years, he is too willing to coast during games and his defense this year has been "Harden like" and even Harden has improved his D slightly this year.

Never. In fact, Jordan would always make a point to say that you can't call him the greatest because he's never had the chance to play against the likes of Chamberlain and West.
Lebron on the other hand had the nerve on his stupid barbershop show to say that when the Cavs beat the 70-win Warriors in the finals, that's when he knew he had become the greatest. How dumb is that? Barely beating a 70-win team in the finals makes you the greatest? How about BEING THE BEST PLAYER on a 70-win team and winning the finals....along with five other finals.

I'm glad you showed this play as this is what I loved about Jordan and Pippen. The fast break and run down was amazing to watch.
LeBron used to do this on a regular basis and won a championship doing this exact same play.
Sadly enough I haven't seen it in a few years but Bron DID do this regularly.

They split the four meetings 1 - Sixers committed an insane amount of turnovers (27 or 28) and got blown out 2 - Nets blow a 20-point lead and lose on Jimmy Butler's buzzer-beater 3 - Nets hold on down the stretch to win by 3. 4 - Classic last game of a long road trip, Nets don't have the juice and Sixers win fairly comfortably (by 12 to 15)

Westbrook plays hard and he distributes the ball so he isn't this "me, me, I , I" player everyone makes him out to be.
I am enjoying real ball players rather than people like John Wall. Now his counterpart, Beal, he can team ball.
