    THANK YOU! Brilliant!
  • I think it’s a little ridiculous that the band would need to charge the fans $2ea for a stub to a show they already attended.  The band was already the reason why we didn’t have real tickets in the first place.  Are these the same guys that fought Ticketmaster at one time?  Now who’s getting gouged?

You are directing your anger in the wrong direction.  Ticketmaster has the contracts with these venues.  Ticketmaster likely won't allow the band to simply print up post-concert ticket stubs, likely per the legal agreement.  You are right.  The band once fought ticketmaster.  Do you think they like these reprints to boldly say "Ticketmaster" on them?  Hell no they don't.  Please put down your torch and pitchfork.

Ticketmaster charges $4-$5 to mail your hard tickets to you. You would have paid that charge to get your tickets then. Your just paying it now for the same thing.

I just think getting an extra $2 out of their fans(for a show they already attended) is pretty ridiculous.  I would have already had a stub had the band not insisted on their e-ticketing policy.  No pitchfork needed.  I just think it’s absurd to milk the fans like this.

True.  But the band is the reason we didn’t get hard tickets in the first place.  I just can’t bring myself to “buy” tickets to a show I already attended.

What's great is people think the band is getting the money for this and not the company that is producing them. Misguided fake outrage.

Good point.  I’m sure the band gets SOMETHING out of it, though.  For the $90(?) per ticket, they could have sent us a copy, I think.  This isn’t the biggest crime against humanity ever, but I just don’t like it.

Im just happy to have a ticket stub.

Id have been happier to have it a month ago instead of walking around with my phone in my mouth, but thats how it goes.
  • Thanks a million! Just ordered, couldn't justify $22.

"Absurd" and "milk" is a bit much. As someone who wants a hard ticket, 9 bucks for 4 shipped is a great option. There are several e-ticket or will-call-only shows I've been to recently and I wish they had done this, too.
