The Ames was my favorite from the Home Shows. Loved their idea of underwater baseball and a Poseidon/Randy Johnson love-child pitcher.
I love that poster, too. I think it's cool as it doesn't have dates (other than the year). It just seems like a PJ hometown poster, in general. Interesting that none of the Seattle posters actually say "Safeco Field". I feel like most posters do, even if it is a corporate name.
The dates are on the poster, they are incorporated into the LF & CF walls
I passed on that one too. It was cool, but again don’t like the dog gimmick. Buuut I’m also one of the seemingly rare people who liked the Taylor Eagle.
This poster isn't getting much love and doesn't seem to be very popular. Many of you already know and some of you don't know the legend of DB Cooper.
I feel that this poster is incredibly cool, especially if you are aware of the legendary 1971 Portland to Seattle flight which was hijacked. Yeah, it's old news...but it was a hot topic again here in the Pacific Northwest due to a new claim in June 2018 about the real identity of DB Cooper. Story here: http://www.nwnewsnetwork.org/post/we-might-have-been-looking-db-cooper-wrong-place-all-these-years
Secondly, and quite scary, there was the airplane that was stolen the night of 8/10/2018 from the Seattle airport which flew around, was diverted by military planes, and crashed into an island not far from Safeco Field.
With these two factors in mind, why is this poster not legendary? Just curious.
Exactly!--Thats the reason I bought the poster, & the guy stealing the plane that night fits so perfectly.
