I was wildly wrong about which Seattle posters would be most coveted.

I thought DB Faile would be the crown jewel because:

    1) the recent news about DB Cooper identity possibly revealed by the author of a new book

    2) the fact that an actual airplane was hijacked and crashed near Seattle on 8/10/18.

I honestly think that most people have no idea who DB Cooper is and what it means to Portland/Seattle folklore.

I was hoping that one would drop today after the Emek. The fact the Emek is still up though gives me hope that the Faile might be up for awhile too.

The only 2 I liked from Seattle were the BK and the Emek.
Don't particularly care for the print (PE    ARL   JAM was the part I liked the least)
Always tough to guess what folks will like most

The airplane was stolen not hijacked.

I liked the Faile too, but ended up with the Klausen because of his pricing and how much the print grew on me.

I have an extra DB Faile for trade if anyone is dying for one. And I do actually really like it, which is why I bought it.  Hadn't even made the whole "stolen plane" connection to the poster until now, thanks!  That was some scary shit, we're SO LUCKY that guy didn't really have a plan.  Cuz whenever I look at that amazing pic from above Safeco of that night... scary shit coulda gone down.

No doubt, I was there too, thankfully I didn't hear about it until the next morning.  I didn't want to sound like a jerk when I said it was stolen and not hijacked.  I hope no offense was taken.

Its really insane, one kid in the early 80's found three bundles of it on the river banks, but none of it has ever circulated.  The wiki page on DB Cooper is a really fascinating ready.  Faile did a great job with this print.

Anyone interested in creating a cheat sheet of what's come and gone in terms of poster sales, and what's left to go? Would be interesting to take a look at the big picture...

Almost 4 hours later and an Emek is still up?  Surprised it hasn't sold on the name alone.

Ames and Jackson were average I guess.
Maybe I was a little harsh, but spaghetti arms and baby brain are just bad. Thomas was easily the best, but  still nothing that was really great.

Out of 5 posters, and considering it was a mini tour (not like they were comissioning 100 posters or something), I was expecting something better.

It’s a hawk. Possibly related to Andre Dawson who played for the cubs and was nicknamed The Hawk.

Trust me...im not either. Lol. I think the Andre Dawson connection is speculation but it does make sense. I’d like to think that’s the significance of the hawk in the poster.

Going with the prohibition theme here, I'm thinking that the cop is a falconer, using the hawk to hunt down the rats (bootleggers) running alcohol through the sewers.
