It's not the length of the show.  It's the end time.

7:30-10:30 sucks my ass.

9 - Midnight is when God proclaimed rock shows should be played.

I agree 9-12 is much better than 730-1030 especially as there is still daylight for the first part of the 730 show.  That being said if the city has a hard stop at 1030 I'll take the 3 hour set any time.  If they insist on stadium tours as the new normal, maybe they can find some cities where there isn't this curfew issue - easy example being Seattle I believe as they played until midnight there if memory serves.  Plenty of cities in NA with good stadiums today.  Cleveland, Detroit, Philly, etc.
