For a band with their catalog, yes... playing over 25% of your setlist as covers is excessive.

Almost as bad as Guns N Roses, they peaked at 33 songs and 10 covers during their recent European tour

I could have done w/o some of the covers, I mean if you are going to do a cover, then do Black Hole Sun or something Soundgarden as a Chris Cornell tribute, now that would have been a cover, so yeah aside from some of those covers a few (3 or 4) of which may have kind of killed the shows momentum, I thought the rest of the setlist was really awesome & totally look forward to Friday, some of you thought it sucked apparently judging by some of the comments, maybe I am delusional, but I fucking loved it

Absolutely.  Some bands play the same setlist night after night.  You'll all be crying when the band takes a break from touring.

Weak set list. Think a lot of this is due to Ed’s voice just hasn’t recovered. Painful to watch him try to get through these shows. Not sure if it’s age, cigarettes, or years of use. Gotta a feeling this will be the last of live shows for a long time if not for good. Respect the fact he tries to give 110 percent each night. No band has given back as much to their fans
sorry but this is just plainly bullshit.

Setlist looked pretty good from afar. Heard the crowd wasnt too great, but the performance was amazing.

This is part 1 of a two night affair, sets up night 2 very nicely for me

  • They've been a band for approaching thirty years. You ever think they are sick of playing some of these songs? I don't give a damn what they play and I would LOVE to hear Again Today at Fenway.

last time I saw them was Wrigley 1 in 2016...I was stunned by how much I liked the cover songs that evening.

it's all good to me, especially within a 3 hour show.

It's terrible.  It's pathetic.  9 covers.  3 songs from Riot Act, Binaural, Avacado, Backspacer and No Code combined.  When I go to a PJ concert, I want to hear PJ songs. Awful.

Oh, the audacity of people who want to hear Pearl Jam songs at a Pearl Jam concert.

What will they think of next?

I don't have much problem with it. I thought the setlist looked good.

But weren’t you on here recently complaining about the Euro posters being dropped while people were traveling?
