Well was finally able to listen to this. I think it sounds good, nice clear, wide soundstage. I don't think its a revolutionary difference in the box set cut from 2011, but i does sound nice for a live recording.
But to give you a reference, as soon as I finished listening to it, i put on the Kevin Gray / Steve Hoffman cut of ZZ Top's Tres Hombres... and OH MY GOD, this is what vinyl is all about. If you don't have that cut, its a MUST own.

People do that all the time. They know they won't sell it for that much. At the same time, there is a sucker born every minute.

Los Angeles to Boston to Atlanta Posts: 18
Finally got mine in today's mail via the absolute most ridiculous and inefficient shipping process ever!! It left Brighton (Boston), MA (literally the next town over from me) on 9/4, traveled to Jersey City, NJ (200+ miles away), then to Springfield, MA (80+ miles away), only to come back to Boston last night for sorting, then finally to me in Watertown, MA today. I was sure it was going be the colored version and arrive in pieces after all that, but it was ok..... and black

Pretty cool. A lot of that probably from us buying multiple copies in hopes of being one of the lucky 100.

well there are only 6000 copies I believe 4136 were sold. The billboard 200 counts physical sales and streaming. So it might end up between 100 and 200 hopefully
it's in the top album chart which is for physical sales. the 200 is combined sales and streams. i had a feeling it wouldn't make the 200. Although I thought 4163 would be enough.

Just curious as where the 6k figure come from? Did that get confirmed somewhere? I know Newbury said that PJ wouldn't allow them to release the pressing info for the black. I thought that they had right around 3500 listed initially and then when it got down to a few hundred copies days later I saw that they bumped the inventory up by 1k. So i was assuming they sold around 4500 online (seems i was maybe off a few hundred). That made me guess 5k were pressed as I assumed 1500 for in store sales would be a lot no?

That's not confirmed. I asked on fb and someone said 6000. I thought it was less but since 4000 was sold I figured it was close enough.
I wonder what the 200th album sold that 4163 wasn't enough. Because of streaming I don't know if the next PJ studio will reach #1 on the Billboard 200.
