There is a heat wave right now - they are probably just trying to keep it from being way too hot.KC138045 said:

Looking for a kind soul who may be willing to grab me a klausen (and a poster tube). I'm in town, but I have limited mobility due to a nervous system disorder so standing for very long is a no no, as is getting overheated. I've been by twice, yesterday when I got in, and lines were 2 hours, and again just now and it's worse. I have to save whatever energy I have for the show.
I'd kick in a few extra bucks for the trouble and, I have a few items I could throw in for trade- a brand new, still in tube Fenway Green Monster poster, the red racerback women's T from wrigley unworn, size x-l. I could send when I get home. Alternatively, as I live in Boston- i could get merch there for you (unless there is a poster that is limited to 1 that I also want).
I don't post on here a lot but I have lots of references of people I've traded goods with or given my extra 10c ticket to.
TIA.Post edited by DeepPJ on0 -

Got there right at noon yesterday (Tuesday). Waited in line outside the tent for exactly 2 hours; once inside, another 45 minutes. The actual purchase only took 5-10 minutes, which was mostly me deciding what I wanted.0

manitouman, I PM'd you... I'm not sure if you mean this like a kind of trade or...? Unfortunately I don't have a safe travels keychain. But I've got money to repay you with.
Congrats on making it through the line btw, haha.
Edit - transaction completed. My coffee table thanks me.

What are the chances of getting to the stadium around 5-5:30PM and getting merch before the show starts inside?0

About the same as finding a front row parking spot at the stadium.MEK42 said:What are the chances of getting to the stadium around 5-5:30PM and getting merch before the show starts inside?Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I meant from the merch inside though. Is it going to be as crazy as the outdoor?0 -
probably not but the selection won't be the greatest....you might be able to jump around to a few different merch tables though and get what you needMEK42 said:Gern Blansten said:

Hopefully shorter than the DMV where i have the pleasure of being right now
no hardcore fans either with their $3k home collection purchases. Just a lot of folks.0 -
I'm definitely getting mine inside. Forget this nonsense of waiting outside for 2-3 hours. Both days I've seen the length of the line and kept driving. I did manage to find street parking two blocks away, so I'm chilling in the a/c until it's time to go in.Forever feeling the sting of Raleigh 20160

I'm hanging at a friend's place in West Seattle. Popped into Zelda Zonk's consignment late this morning. Is that your store?!?ZeldaZonk said:I'm definitely getting mine inside. Right!?? Common sense is not so commonoftenreading said:And also, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they should have one long queue and when you get to the front, you go to the next available agent. Then if some clueless person takes half an hour to try on every shirt available, they don't hold up everyone in their line, while other people in other lines just sail on ahead.ShawnZ0 -
LOL Ironically no, and the funny thing is that I found out about that store about a year or so ago. I can't get over the coincidence of the store having the same name and in the same city. So odd! I keep meaning to go in there but haven't. How was the store? Any goodies?giventofly69 said:

hahaha, niceThirty Bills Unpaid said:At the risk of being wrong, I'm getting the feeling that PJ management has recognized the demand for their stuff and adjusted their supply accordingly. They might even be printing posters as we speak (has there been a definitive number detailing the print run?).
Some people freaked out and bought stuff on Ebay the first day thinking prices were going to soar; however, I feel that the opposite is going to happen (and it's already showing with recent sales). As mentioned on this forum, everybody is getting what they want.
Outside of the delay they might experience waiting for some doosh to pick out all their items to resell... people don't need to get upset with the gomers buying $2000 worth of stuff because they might end up having the last laugh.
Given the supply is not as limited, those 'respected flippers' are not going to see the lucrative profit they likely envisioned when they initially chose to make dickheads of themselves. Their posters and stuff will still sell, but not anywhere near the high prices we've seen in the past and not for such a price to overcome the loss of their dignity.ShawnZ0 -
Yes, a nice shop. Some nice things but wasn't in the mood for shopping. (I was on a mission to find was an inexpensive 4.5" x 6.5" purse that I could use for the shows. I didn't read about the bag size restrictions before I left home. But no luck).ZeldaZonk said:
