    If Mattingly's back next year these prospects better start hitting. Pitching is fine for now. And if need be get a big free agent. If they can get them for cheap go for Kershaw or Scherzer.

    Alcantara needs to beat good teams in order to be an ace.

    It's gonna suck when they become sellers by the deadline. But they can get some good players for Duvall and Aguilar. They should also trade Berti. Won't get anything good for him. But you never know? Also Cooper might get you a decent prospect. Then call up the youngsters. They should also call up Max Meyers

    Mattingly's option has been picked up for next year. Was hoping for a possibility he could return to the Yankees. But it won't happen as long as Cashman is still there

    Yeeeeeeah, I was hoping for this too.  Have been meaning to mention in the Yankees thread.

    I have a tough time seeing Cashman still there if they miss the playoffs, which yeah, they're going to.

    Lopez strikes out the first 9 batters he's faced. All that doesn't matter as the Braves cut the lead to 4-2 and possibly adding more as I type this
