    Unfortunately not much that can be done other than the cliche treatments that everybody knows of Tea, Honey, Lemon/Lime Steam/Vapor treatments, etc... Truth of the matter is nothing heals the body like the key component which is Rest and Hydration. He just needs to take it as easy as possible, drink a ton of water and rest. Sleep is the one remedy to all of the body's ailments. He will comeback full force to finish off the tour strong.

    Of course! It’s just for the fun of it to be honest, as well as something to do for the people who were supposed to go to the show (not me, but others).

    Take ibuprofen to bring down the inflammation 
    Gargle salt water and / or soluble aspirin.

    The SLP fiance says only rest and hydration will cure it. Avoid sugars, alcohol, drugs that dry your mouth, caffeine etc. 

    He should probably cancel a couple more shows sadly and / or have some slower acoustic shows which I'm sure everyone would love.

    These are definitely best for sore throats - they literally numb the pain, rather than simply kind of soothe it .... I can't see why they'd work for losing one's voice though - I think they'd just result in an Eddie who is more comfortable but still with no voice, lol. ;)
