    Great first weekend of World Cup football. Spain v Portugal was an epic game and as mush as I can't stand Ronaldo, he was superb

    My Aussies battled hard against the French, but couldn't create anything up front. Defended and scrambled well for most of the game and fought til the end. My main man - Mile Jedinak (alias - Jedi, Outback Jesus) netted a penalty for us and was his usual stoic self and Mooy and Sainsbury were excellent

    Messi missing that penalty was shocking, he needs to step it up from now to get Argentina progressing. 

    Germany losing is the biggest shock, but Mexico have some talented players, and it shows that anything can happen

    That's not the point.  A guy gets straight up tackled American football style on a corner and nothing was called.  Even with this VAR nonsense which is supposed to pick up fouls like that.
