So you can buy this and have it shipped to you, rather than pick-up?   I'd love it as a vinyl collector but no chance to make it to Chicago.  If that's the case, I'd buy the tickets and give them away to anyone that wants to go to the game.

    Tickets still available ..

An eBay seller is saying there's under 500 of these pressed. Yeah .. right ..

Some guy on FB who is raffling his second one for $260 is basically saying the same thing.  I’m hoping these end up in the TMR vault novelties store

Still no guarantee about shipping options, but here's what I could get from fan services. I asked about donating the tickets to the Cubs charity in case people would be burning tickets - but I'm not sure if you need to be the ticket owner in order to get the vinyl shipped (proof of purchase of vinyl package).

Also, with the limited seating available for this package, I'd definitely say above 500 but nowhere near tens of thousands. Most low-run Wrigley promos are 5,000 when everyone in the stadium is eligible, so 2,500-5,000 is probably an decent bet.

A couple years ago, the Cubs did an Oktoberfest boot drinking glass giveaway.  It was a pretty similar operation as this, you had to buy the glass ticket package. Not everyone in the stadium got one.  Living in Maryland, I obviously couldn't make it to the game, so I had my buddy who lived a block down from Wrigley on Sheffield pick it up for me (I mailed the ticket to him).  I do recall there was a specific locaiton (I think near the Bleacher gate) and window of time to pick up the glass (like an hour before the game up until the 5th inning or something).  Don't fret, it should be a well-organized operation.
That's some useful info right there^^

How the hell can anyone say there are tens of thousands of these?

Cubs tickets for this season were on sale wayyyyyyyyy before this promotion was in the works and announced. It's a Friday game during a holiday week when kids are out of school and a ton of people have taken off work. They probably sold 35,000 seats for this game between season ticket holders and fans buying individual tickets before this promotion was ever even announced. The place only holds 40,000, give or take.

I don't know if there's a way to verify there's only 500, but it's a very safe bet there sure aren't 20,000 of them floating around.

Take a look at what has sold on eBay already and the prices, though. It's pretty clear what a few people are doing: Buy two tickets for roughly $170 after all the BS fees and taxes. Keep one vinyl, and sell the other – and they've been going for $160-200. So some people are obviously buying two, pre-selling one, and the one they're pre-selling is paying for their personal copy to make it free.

So in other words, just like every show at the merch booth!

Was gonna say the same thing. 100%. I really wish I could get my hands on one as a HUGE PJ & Cubs fan, but the 4th of July makes it too inconvenient. I think that is how they are able to make it a very exclusive, yet reasonable amount of copies. I'm thinking like 1,500 or less.

Shocked if it's under 1500 copies as ticket vinyl packages are still on sale. And the fact they are playing Chicago? Aren't there a whole lot of Pearl Jam fans living in that city? Wouldn't they want this? EV, Cubs, TMR and all.

Would they be numbered do you think? That would be a nice way to know for sure.

It is completely guaranteed that there will be tons of these on eBay and the price will start going down down down once these are in the hands of people

My husband and I looked at going so we can each get one of these. We live about an hour away.

The problem is 2 tickets are $180 with fees, parking is about $40, 4 beers is around $40, food $20... your talking about $280 ( which is why we never go to Cubs games). Yeah, it’s going to be a beautiful day and the vinyl looks awesome, but holy crap it’s expensive.

Most cubs fans would’ve secured tickets a long time ago before knowing about this, price level is pretty high for a game against the Reds, seats with the package (apart from bleachers) aren’t that great, and it’s on a holiday week when people may be out of town (or for those working, it’s a Friday day game).

If I wasn’t in another state right now I would’ve gladly gone to the game and picked up the vinyl for more people. Still waiting on shipping info from the Cubs.

Parking is free if you're willing to walk about a mile.  Just find a side street off Addison.  Eat before you leave.
