Chicago Cubs exclusive Vinyl Record Ticket Package featuring "All the Way" and "Go, Cubs, Go"
The Chicago Cubs are teaming up with Third Man Pressing to offer fans an exclusive Vinyl Record Ticket Package for the Cubs-Reds game Friday, July 6, at Wrigley Field! Fans who purchase a ticket to the July 6 game through this special offer will receive a limited-edition, 7-inch vinyl record.

Pressed at Jack White's Third Man Pressing in Detroit, this double-sided record features Eddie Vedder's single "All the Way," which was written by Vedder as a tribute to the Chicago Cubs. The other side of the record features the iconic song "Go, Cubs, Go," written and sung by lifelong Cubs fan Steve Goodman.

This limited-edition record is pressed on blue and red vinyl and only available as part of this exclusive ticket package. Ticket packages are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. One vinyl record will be granted for each ticket purchased through this offer.

    Really intrigued by this if Third Man is releasing it. Too bad I'm out of town for that game.

    Hopefully the vinyl doesn't get ruined during the game.  Day game at Wrigley in July will be pretty damn hot.

    Since you need to purchase from select sections, and not applicable to existing ticket sales, it seems like they can control the quantity and delivery. But yeah, it'd suck to buy a ticket to the game, not attend, and come away empty-handed.

    Cubs tickets got reeeeeally expensive these last couple years.  The vinyl packages are only $5 more than regular ticket prices.

    This is not an all fan giveaway. You specifically have to purchase this vinyl + ticket package from that specified link. This is similar to when Mike does his annual CCFA night with the Mariners.

    A couple years ago, the Cubs did an Oktoberfest boot drinking glass giveaway.  It was a pretty similar operation as this, you had to buy the glass ticket package. Not everyone in the stadium got one.  Living in Maryland, I obviously couldn't make it to the game, so I had my buddy who lived a block down from Wrigley on Sheffield pick it up for me (I mailed the ticket to him).  I do recall there was a specific locaiton (I think near the Bleacher gate) and window of time to pick up the glass (like an hour before the game up until the 5th inning or something).  Don't fret, it should be a well-organized operation.
