I have an opportunity to buy one for 70.00 and wanted to hear from someone who has one if it's worth buying. 70.00 alone for a Patagonia backpack is a killer deal.

That PJ20 backpack is simply a common model backpack made by Patagonia that retails for $70. There's two PJ20 patches sewn on it, and orange and yellow stitching where there would be black stitching on the basic black model found on the Patagonia website.
Anything drastically over $70 is suspect.
'Hope you acquire what you're after for a price you like.0 -
It’s not the PJ20 it’s just the standard PJ Patagonia backpack0

Don't have the one pictured above, but the PJ20 one has held up like a champ and I use it every single day.

Regardless of the Pj branding, this bag is the best bag i ever owner. I fear for the day it packs in, and wish i had bought a few. But then dont we all. Im not talking for resale value either - id just like to know i had a few back ups for the future. I guess if it ever goes that way Id buy the generic ones in a heartbeat

Do it! This was a drunken impulse buy for me, and I've used it daily for years. It's awesome.
