The Vote-For-Change Tour in 2004 was cool to me in a "Whoa, a Pearl Jam concert when I wasn't expecting one" way. But it was nothing more than that for me. And they definitely shouldn't do another one. Now more than ever it seems that voters aren't interested in hearing celebrities preach their politics. Of course, those same voters voted for a celebrity that preached his politics so who knows.
Weren't they supporting the corporatist John Kerry in 2004?
yes, I am sure they got lied to or misled John Kerry is great at that, and they were doing anything they could to beat Bush, if they had known what a absolute Warmonger John Kerry was, I have to believe they wouldn't have supported him
I think playing shows aimed at raising funds for a specific issue, like homelessness in Seattle at the Home Shows, is the better way to go about it in 2018 and 2020.

I agree but what I'd really like to see is for Pearl Jam to join Red Hot Chili Peppers in their support for Sea Shepherds!

After the Trump presidency, do Americans need musicians telling them to vote for change? I would hope not ... but then again Trump did win once...
Wouldn't it be great to answer that question with, "No. Americans are independent thinkers who take a critical look at the issues and the candidates and place their votes based on smart choices and a good understanding of logical consequences." Wouldn't that be great? In the mean time, I have no problem with musicians who are intelligent encouraging their fans to do things that are better for them than voting in clowns. That's the sad reality.

Crack me up!!! No, this country needs people to rally in the streets, on every street, I'll go so far as using the term "revolution" and it needs to be done now, not two years from now.
Kind of a no brainer. Anything that promotes a full on tour. I dont care if they call it a vote for change your. As long as they have a new record out when they do it.
will myself to find a home, a home within myself we will find a way, we will find our place

I'm more central in my thinking so I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy this.
Reading the definition of a Centrist, I didn't identify with some of it's meanings so I'm not sure if that is how I should be labeled?
