I find it odd that people march to demand that their rights be taken away.  Even more so since "literally Hitler" is President.

There are many posters that I like, particularly the one with "Install A Clown, Expect A Circus"

That sign really says disarm the police? Please tell me it is out of context and not serious. That kind of suggestion is when the fight for stronger restrictions is laughed at (which is not what we want).

Can you see us in Boston?

    Of course, you can!

Are you the one on the left of the four participants?
I’m to the left of just about everybody.
    I SAW PEARL JAM

    Those are awesome.

My favourite sign? "The only thing easier to buy in the USA than a gun is a Republican."

I guess not everyone is that keen on the right to be shot to death

Just a little bump to keep the momentum going.
This Saturday is the day. I hope everyone can get out so we can show our strength with our numbers. There are Marches everywhere. Find one near you.
I'll be on Long island @STONEYBROOK with my wife ...

Kids marching in DC on a Saturday with the GOP out of town. Do they believe they'll get anything  done without the support of the majority?

They needed to do this on a school day with Congress in session.

Then unsung would call the cops on them.

The two young women from Stoneman Douglas HS Choir gave a very powerful performance. Very talented!

    Congress will see this.
It doesn’t matter if they’re there or not.
I hope everyone was able to get out and participate.
We had tens of thousands of people here in Parkland.
Lots of new registered voters as well.
As far as I’m concerned they can do something now or make their retirement plans.

I saw that one too. Seemed odd and out of place for this march.
    It's a hopeless situation...

They are being used as pawns, marching to eliminate their rights, to give bad people control.
    Antifa made them do it.

Yes, and they also work for all of the hundreds of thousands of people who protested today.

The raised fist has been used for decades as a symbol of speaking out against oppression, particularly by black activists.

Some people will seize on anything to object to.

No doubt and if the opposition wants to do the same let them have their protests I’d be interested in seeing the turn out for a pro gun rally would the numbers be the same ? ...the March I attended probably had about 100 participants if felt good just to be around
some positive energy I can’t imagine the energy felt today in DC that was impressive..
