Thread should be called: Typos in initial email later corrected many times over.
There's a difference between sending different information at a later time and correcting something.
A reasonable person could easily decipher there were typos in the original email. Thousands of people got that email weeks ago and it was brought up today only after the drawing ended. No need for a formal correction.
I dont remember seeing the 13th at all, but it looks like it was in there. I went to the website and read it about 200 times before Feb 7, so I never had this issue. Pointing out the mistake in the initial email would have been good, if they didnt do that. But anyone who went to the website and read the rules would have seen the correct date.

On top of that all the talk on here and on FB/Twitter about today being the day.
I do not keep up w/either of those.
I understand a lot of people don't but after the original email there have been wow additional emails that clearly said the 12th including the newsletter on Saturday. Plus all the info on the site said the 12th.

I didn't read or follow up on anything more you just mentioned. Mistakes happen. I don't think the original poster was complaining. This thread I agree is bs.
Oh please let it rain today.
Those that can be trusted can change their mind.
I just check the email and it's clearly says the 12th. I never saw anything that said the 13th.
That's the wrong email (that one is from February 8). The original email was from January 24.
The original email listed both dates so the 13th was clearly nothing more than a typo.
A Ten Club ticket drawing will be held for members active as of yesterday, January 23rd, for a chance to purchase pre-sale tickets.
For your travel planning convenience, you have 2 weeks before the
drawing begins. The drawing entry period opens Wednesday, February 7th
at 10am PT, and closes on Tuesday, February 13th at 10am PT.
The drawing page will not be active until the drawing starts.
Since you have 6 full days to enter, you do not have to be online right
at 10am PT on the 7th. The time you enter the drawing has no effect on
whether or not you get tickets, as long as you enter before the
drawing period ends on February 12th at 10am PT.
Major ticketing changes have been made. For complete pre-sale information and rules, login to your membership account on PearlJam.com and click the button below.
"Tuesday, February 13th"
"you have 6 full days" (which would be the 13th)
"February 12th"
If you had to guess which was the typo, why would you assume it's the 13th (which has the day of the week AND a later sentence saying it's 6 days after the 7th) and not the 12th, which was written once without a day of the week.
Using your logic, yes, I would GUESS that the typo is the 12th. However, I would ASSUME that the 12th is correct (i.e., I'd enter by the 12th because it's far worse to be wrong the other way).

I would assume the typo was the 13th because every subsequent communication listed the 12th. Pretending this first email existed all on its own in a vacuum is disingenuous. You know it didn't, you know the deadline was always the 12th, and you know nothing closed early.
There were a lot of communications and it should have been clear to anyone who cared that the drawing ended Feb 12th.... that said, I still think such errors are inexcusable. I feel like 10C has been quite careless lately. Conflicting dates, saying Missoula was in Washington, 2017 "typo" on the 2016 single.... there is a problem IMO, whether it was pretty damn obvious when the lottery actually ended or not. .... I will also acknowledge that 10C did a great job of getting more tickets into the hands of the fans this go around, which is very cool.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
