Loving the fact that it looks like everyone will get GA that wants it. Can’t wait for this show. All those running / hiking trails near by look amazing. Can’t wait. Hopefully weather is nice.

Most importantly, does anyone know if they sell beer at this venue for concerts?  I was at the PJ show in 98 there, but I cant remember if they did or not.
I was curious too since it’s a college stadium. Went to a U2 show here in Raleigh several years back at NC State’s football stadium, and no beer was sold

Give you guys an update on Missoula. This was the only stop that is worth going to. It's going to be the  show of the tour. I have done my research flights are not that expensive if you fly into Spokane, WA. I got flights for like $258 + rental car. And saved myself $250 compared to flying in Missoula w/o car.  Only a 3 hour drive from Spokane and get to enjoy some of the most amazing  scenery of America. Got a 4 bedroom house through air bnb for $700 for 3 nights split between 3 others. I am also organizing white water rafting trip for 10c members through the Alberton gorge on Sunday for 4 hours. Fishing hiking and pearl jam in 70 degree weather during night in one of the most beautiful states in our country. Honestly after going to Chicago last time for only 3 days I will save so much more compared to how outrageous hotels and shit cost in those 3 other cities. We are going to grill out eat at our house enjoy the weather and beauty.  So happy that people are deciding to skip this. This venue is a football stadium...it has an arena feel to it and will be rocking. You will not be sitting a mile away. Wrigley seemed like yesterday and can'b elieve people are going back. See them somewhere else... Be adventurous. If this stop wasn't on this tour definitely would of sat this run out.  Don't be lame, book it and you won't regret it.
    Very nice plan!

I'm flying from LA to SEA for Fridays shows, stay Fri and maybe Sat in Seattle, then fly to Spokane, rent a car and drive to Missoula.  Maybe stop in Couer d Alene...gorgeous there, enjoy Miss for a day or so, then drive back to Spokane, fly home.  Airfare is only $418, rental car should be cheap.

Can't wait for this show!!! Saw them there in 1998 and it was incredible. Wow... can't believe that was 20 years ago! Going to be a good run. Hitting the second show in Seattle, then going to Missoula... driving home and then driving down to Chicago for the 20th. August will be a great month :-)

Go to Hudson’s in downtown Coue d Alene. Great burgers and atmosphere. Been around since around 1910.

Definitely going to this one. Gonna be great. Just trying to think of where I need to prioritize this in the drawing since I’m going to other shows. Also, flights are crazy out of Missoula to most places. Looking for something reasonable back to Denver that Tuesday after the show. That Spokane suggestion is a good idea though.

Taking the week off before and after this show.  Driving my motorcycle from Minnesota and exploring Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho during the days around the show.  Will meet up with my buddy from Colorado and my brother from Seattle as we explore the twisties in and around the mountains.  Also, have a buddy flying in for the weekend.  Pearl Jam is a great prodder for travel and adventure.  And don't forget to indulge in some huckleberry ice cream . . .

No chance they give GA to people who had Reserved as #1 choice.  Look at the rules.

    Some people prefer reserved.

They really have done this before...at a couple of shows.
My good friend AnotherTourPlease lives in Phoenix and went to the 2013 show there.
She put in reserved as her first choice with GA as her #2.
She got her #2 choice because the GA section wasn't filled with the first selections,
so some of the members that had GA as their second choice were "upgraded."
This was back before we had the odds tool to see what the demand was for each type of ticket,
and many people took the safer bet with reserved tickets so they didn't miss out on the show.
I've heard that this happened at a couple of Canadian shows as well.
Bottom line is if you absolutely don't want GA tickets,
don't even list this as an option on your lottery entry.

This happened to me as well in Phoenix

Ballpark shows outside of GA or close seating don’t appeal to me at all.   Not one bit.  Fenway would be the only shows I would consider because I would like to spend time in that area.  Missoula all the way.  I don’t think it will be a crazy show but the location seals the deal.

I am expecting the kiss cam to come out during these ballpark shows.  Maybe t-shirt cannons too, and a golf putting contest during the encore breaks.  Honestly, that was the feeling I walked away with after Wrigley 1 in 2016.  It was barely a concert at times.
Agreed. I haven’t seen too many people detail this but I felt the same way. I walked out feeling like I was at a minor league baseball game at times.

Honestly, it doesn't matter if you're in a club, arena, stadium, or wherever. If a camera gets on someone, and they notice themselves on the big screen they are going to cheer/dance/flash/scream.  That's just normal human reaction.

I sat up in the roof box and down on the field at Fenway 2 years ago and left both shows feeling like I do pretty much every other time I've seen them.  It was a great show.

I'd love to go to Missoula.  I couldn't find a flight cheaper than $600.  If they weren't coming to Boston, I would certainly entertain the thought, but no need to.  Missoula will no doubt be fun.

If you are flying Allegiant (the only direct flight), I recommend just putting on two layers of clothes and putting your toothbrush in your pocket. They are the Ryanair of the US. Well, Spirit might be the Ryanair of the US, but you get the idea.

What is this M&G fundraiser you speak of? I thought they didnt to M&G?
Similar to 2012, run by Jon Tester's office. Worked out really well last time, the crowd was extremely respectful, and the band sans Ed were quite relaxed and happy to be there. Definitely worthwhile if you can pull the trigger.

Getting nervous now that GA is dropping that I won’t get it with my second pick. I don’t imagine a ton of people have this show as a second pick as it seems to be kind of a stand alone.
