    OH TOTALLY!!! I can't tell you how many times I've been IN HIDING and done exactly what he explains in this song. As with many, many, many PJ songs Ed seems to write about my life. Is he watching me through a crystal ball or something?

    I can really relate to this song. I know whats its like to be in hiding. I suffer from social anxiety disorder which causes me to stay out of social places.

    I went to meet Stone at an in store appearence last summer for Brad. I brought some cheat sheet/ tab music for the song for Stone to look over. I wasn't comfortable with the cords I found online. He was very nice and replied "I don't even know how to play that anymore, I just do. I don't think about the cords, I have that stuff memorized so I just play it."

    I agree - when Vedder sings the chorus, it really knocks me out. I think it's one of the most powerful moments on any of the studio albums.

    In Hiding is such a wonderful, powerful song!!!

    I began my appreciation for the song after watching Single Video Theory. If you don't have this, you must obtain immediately!!!

    I know that I have watched SVT at least 100 times or more.

    I absolutely love this song. I actually never truly appreciated it before the Friday night show of PJ's 4 day set in Phili. The audience sounded sooo good!!!

    this is the first song that i can recall, that really spoke to my core. it was like he was watching over me cos his words were my life. so yes, i have truly felt the essence of in hiding. i only wish i could find the words to thank him.
