Your favorite ending to a PJ concert you’ve seen?

I would have to go with 9/11/11 up in Toronto... RITFW with Neil coming out mid song was epic (to borrow a word from the Greek guy). The look on Ed’s face was priceless =)  Plus... the four preceding songs of Rearviewmirror, Chloe Dancer, Crown of Thorns, and Alive were pretty damn good too!

Ben from Band of Horses joining PJ for All Along The Watchtower in Hartford, 2010.

Mike closing out Fenway 2016 with the Star Spangled Banner tag on Yellow Ledbetter. RITFW right before was probably the happiest I've ever seen the band on stage, too.

I have only been to seven shows but hearing I've Got a Feeling and Fenway 1 second to last was cool and then at Wrigley 2 I was sure it was over after Ledbetter was played but to my delight we got it again.

that was one amazing ending!  That show is still in my top five for sure.
My other favorite ending was alive at msg 2, 98...ed was swinging on a mic chord at the end of the song.  It was sick!

Maybe it's because the first I saw them do it, but at Vancouver '98 they closed with Ledbetter, but Eddie was really into it, and stopped the band to play one more, and they busted out Baba O' Riley (and knocked it out of the park).   Just the way you knew they were done, but Eddie wasn't... lol... then blistering through a song after Yellow Ledbetter.

Oh hell yes to that MSG show!  The other ending that comes to mind is 10/31/09 and the closing of the Spectrum.  Very surreal with the confetti and balloons falling at the end.  =)

Indifference, San Jose ‘95. Incredible end to an incredible show. I still enjoy going on the you tubes and seeing my younger more carefree self crowd surfing and absolutely losing my shit.

After 7 shows I was yet to see either Sonic Reducer or Baba, so I was really hoping for one or the other at Philly night 2 2016, instead we got both! Plus they were bookended by Throw Your Hatred Down and a killer YL/SSB.

I've Got a Feeling at Wrigley/Fenway was pretty sweet. I'd like to see Pendulum, Parting Ways, or Long Nights close out a show. Picture Ed playing Long Nights alone to cap off a 40 song show...

Charlottesville 2013 might be an all time ending, show was off the chain and they go out like this:
    Porch
    2nd encore:
    Breath
    State of Love and Trust
    Alive(Warpigs tag)
    Baba
They are about to end on that note and then Mike says no, time for one more...
    Little Wing

Or Stockholm 2012 just because of how happy and joyful the room felt. Very good energy that night.

In terms of nearly flawless awe both 9.11.98 and 7.8.03 at MSG were incredible encores.

But it is hard to put anything into perspective having been at Penn State 5.3.03 - If they did not butcher the impromptu Satan's Bed, it was otherwise the most raucous incredible encore they have ever done.

In the 4 shows that I've only attended, Milwaukee '14 stands out to me. That was the show they played Yield in its entirety, which was awesome in itself. Then ended the 2nd encore with Black, Alive, Fuckin' Up and Ledbetter. After Ledbetter finished up, everyone naturally assumed the show was over as the lights turned on. Then McCready busted into the Star-Spangled Banner, which he destroyed (in a good way). So awesome.

I dunno, I thought them butchering "Satan's Bed" made the show even more memorable. It was such a spontaneous, off-the-cuff moment.
Plus, Mike playing the "Bu$hleaguer" riff at the end of YL what, four days after the Nassau show? That was fantastic, too.
