oh more :-) you have already booked your hotels and flights?

  • Could the idea be to get some of that sweet sweet European summer festival money with a short stint, before a bigger US tour riding the political election times?

    1. Album
    2. Early summer - short european tour (2007 style)
    3. Summer and fall - longer US tour and some charming Trump hating.

Europe getting two full length tours before the US gets even one...

sounds like the US could be in for a massive fall tour to make up for the last 4 years and promote the album

    Prob 11 or 13. ;)

and for what it’s worth I think Australia is the last region on their mind to tour, when you’re touring less and less, Sth America and Europe are too hard to ignore. Especially with their large festivals to choose from. The US will get some shows at some stage. Australia will be lucky to get a tour. Just feeling a bit pessimistic.

So looks like Poland is getting a show that is not in Krakow. I bet that is one of the spicy shows. Warsaw or Gdansk makes sense. Wonder if Prague/Berlin is going to be in the trio too or we will get some new areas to explore.

Also with the guarantee of them playing Werchter as always I bet this lands right before it or after it which is July 2-5.

Maybe Copenhagen, Hamburg, and Gdansk is the trio.

Warsaw would be awesome, combine a PJ show with the chance to visit family. But I'm not sure there's a suitable venue, assuming stadium shows would be too big?

Funny you say that. I spent like 10 minutes yesterday looking for Warsaw arenas that would be suitable for a concert and could not find one. I thought it was a translation issue but maybe not with your comments. Does Warsaw really not have a decent size arena? If so Gdansk it is. Nice venue too.

Had to Google this - Arena Gliwice near Katowice.  17k capacity, built in 2018. Might be an option...

Warsaw does not have an 15k+ arena.
We have ones in Krakow, Gliwice, Lodz and Gdansk.
Spodek in Katowice and Torwar in Warsaw are too small.

Then there are of course modern football stadiums in Poland, but they might be too big.
