Could the idea be to get some of that sweet sweet European summer festival money with a short stint, before a bigger US tour riding the political election times?
1. Album
2. Early summer - short european tour (2007 style)
3. Summer and fall - longer US tour and some charming Trump hating."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

and for what it’s worth I think Australia is the last region on their mind to tour, when you’re touring less and less, Sth America and Europe are too hard to ignore. Especially with their large festivals to choose from. The US will get some shows at some stage. Australia will be lucky to get a tour. Just feeling a bit pessimistic.Post edited by BrainofBGA onMelbourne #1 '98

So looks like Poland is getting a show that is not in Krakow. I bet that is one of the spicy shows. Warsaw or Gdansk makes sense. Wonder if Prague/Berlin is going to be in the trio too or we will get some new areas to explore.
Also with the guarantee of them playing Werchter as always I bet this lands right before it or after it which is July 2-5.Post edited by PJNB on0 -

Warsaw would be awesome, combine a PJ show with the chance to visit family. But I'm not sure there's a suitable venue, assuming stadium shows would be too big?'F*** the pessimists. F*** 'em.' Eddie Vedder0 -

Warsaw does not have an 15k+ arena.
We have ones in Krakow, Gliwice, Lodz and Gdansk.
Spodek in Katowice and Torwar in Warsaw are too small.

Then there are of course modern football stadiums in Poland, but they might be too big.0
