The topic should be called: Zen or the skill to catch a Pearl Jam tour.

If my info is correct they will play in a city before berlin that they last played in 1992...
ooooh, Cologne?
It could also be Frankfurt or Bremen.
Or Stuttgart. Plus Utrecht and Eindhoven in the Netherlands
Assuming they play in Amsterdam, the other Netherlands cities are too close, I think. Makes not much sense to move all the equipment just a few kilometers if they could sell out Ziggo Dome easily multiple times. Cologe and Frankfurt is reachable for a lot of people from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Stuttgart might be too far south in Germany (and Schleyerhalle is not the best location) and also too far from Berlin, Netherlands and East Europe.
Assuming Amserdam is set and also Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt is somewhere in the middle. Lanxess Arena in Cologne would be perfect.
Also, this leaves some room in west Europe for Paris?
For the "Spicy Zig-Zag Tour 2020" I go with Amsterdam, some festival in the Netherlands (Pinkpop?), UK, Glastonbury would fit (and would be the kicker, altough imho unlikely), Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Rock Werchter, Imola, the Spicy Three (somewhere East Europe, did someone already mentioned Katowice? Maybe Budapest), two or three festivals at the end.
Katowice don't have a proper venue - Spodek is only 8k-9k cap.

Why play Katowice, when you have Krakow right next to it, with its beautiful old town and the better/bigger arena?
Because they played two spectacular shows in 2000 in Katowice and the feeling is that some of the "old" venues with good vibes will be re-visted in 2020... All pure speculation, of course.
Speaking of speculation, is Goffertpark in Nijmegen an option for a Netherlands festival (PJ played there in 2010)? Rammstein is playing there end of June, so maybe two weeks earlier (mid of June), which would fit with the projected mid-of-June tour start in Amsterdam...

With Glastonbury, barring any returned tickets, being sold out, can you imagine the reaction round these parts at a show people can't get tickets for? Be amazing to see them go onstage in front of a crowd that hasn't bought tickets for them specifically. I think me winning the Euromillions lottery is more likely than PJ Glasto, and I don't even play lottery!
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits
What about Kaunas, Zalgiris Arena? Would be very spicy!
sorry dude...thats not just spicy,,that would be one of the most epic things everr happen to europe shows...

As much as i adore Pearl Jam I'm not even sure they would go down well with today's modern Glastonbury crowd. Well, not as a main stage headliner.

I have not been following the festivals really for this tour except for Imola and Werchter. Of all the ones rumoured when is the first one supposed to be announced? They should all be this month shouldn't they?
Also I know the reserved seats are a lot harder to come by in the Euro tours as they have less of them to go around and that GA is pretty much guaranteed for most venues. That said how are the 10 Club seats for those in the past that were lucky to get them in the last couple of tours? I know you low numbers probably got some amazing seats but curious what the 500K and up got too.
