They do actually. I've seen plenty of ads about that - their chicken is raised without antibiotics. It's actually the best chicken burger on the market. I don't usually go for chicken burgers, but damn, theirs is fucking good.HughFreakingDillon said:yeah, A&W talks about their beef all the time. notice they conveniently don't mention anything about their unfortunately-named "chubby" chicken? yeah, won't touch it.
give me my massive uncle burger with bacon and cheddar with a side of onion rings though.

never seen them mention their chicken once. not even on their signage at the restaurant.PJ_Soul said:

I just don't buy chicken sandwiches at fast food places. never been a fan. used to like KFC's big crunch back in the day. now it's more like a big soggy.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -

A bunch of people have attempted to replicate the supposed results (i.e., the liver damage, the depression and mood swings, etc etc) in the film and nobody has been able to come close, and even just the amount of calories he claimed to have eaten don't pan out when you actually do the math. Yes, his cholesterol numbers went up and he gained weight, which is reasonable and to be expected with such an unrealistic forced diet ... but that is the only result that can actually can be proven from the experiment.HughFreakingDillon said:how was super size me bullshit? I mean, it was unrealistic in that in makes no sense to eat any fast food, or even eat restaurant meals, 100% of the time, but he ate the food, he gained weight. he made a lot of money pointing out the obvious. just like eating frozen dinners for every meal would be unhealthy.

Pretty easy to get back on track... Besides, it still seems on topic, since someone said we're all disgusting because of the food/meat we eat.KC138045 said:HughFreakingDillon said:anyway, we've derailed another thread, yet again.

Really? They did a media blitz about it in BC, and they have big signs about it at the restaurants where I am. Yeah, I don't buy chicken burgers either, ever ... At least not until I discovered the A&W ones. I bought it just because they were promoing it as part of said media blitz and it was really cheap. I couldn't believe how good it was. I maybe eat fast food half a dozen times a year, and A&W is now where I go 5 out of those 6 times, mainly for the chicken burgers.HughFreakingDillon said:

Only a disgusting form of human would do this:
US border patrol routinely sabotages water left for migrants, report says
Humanitarian groups report agents routinely destroy supplies left in Arizona desert, condemning people to die of thirst

And I'll bet that some, if not many, of those border patrol agents consider themselves to be good christians.brianlux said:Only a disgusting form of human would do this:US border patrol routinely sabotages water left for migrants, report says

I think that to do something like this, a person would have to be either evil or programed to do evil.

..... everyone knows that America and many other nations use attrition in war all the time, right? And that soldiers would do this disgusting kind of thing regularly? I'm not sure why them trying to get rid of aid left in the desert is surprising to anyone, given the circumstances. Of course I agree it's fucking terrible, but it is exactly what I would expect as well, knowing what I do about how Arizona views migrants - they feel like they are in a "war", so are using war-like tactics.... And those living in Arizona seem to keep voting for it, so it must be what the majority likes.

I was thinking the same thing, that is is a very militaristic, war like act carried out by people who have never had or have been stripped of their humanity. It's a function of military offense. Which is why I wish our military were more aid and defense oriented.PJ_Soul said:..... everyone knows that America and many other nations use attrition in war all the time, right?
