This is one of those songs I can relate to a lot. Sometimes I just lock myself out for a while and listen to this. You can not be a true pearl jam fan and not love this song, i love a lot of songs on no code, but this one I believe is my favorite on there. I had to my this "personal soundtrack" for a class in school that I was taking and I had to put this on there. No doubt one of pj's best, in my opinion.

I love this freakin' song. You're right, this thread can't be too long. I have the MSG dvd and seeing it this song performed live is beyond words. Ahhh, it's just like exactly how I am--loner, stoner, whatever it's there. I've been listening to No Code many a time this evening, and oh, my, god how my love for this song was rekindled!! This is suuuuch a beautiful little gem with gorgeous impact. This instrumentals in every aspect are just mind-blowing, Ed's vocal deliverance, and the lyrics..all come into one and really just send this wave of pure bliss over you. Either version of this song is highly adored by me, i'm just surprised i allowed myself to let this little beauty slip between my fingers a bit. Major love for this song is sent.

I love it! Sorry but this post had to me made. All I hear is bad stuff about it and it's about damn time this song got some lovin. Despite it's extreme differences to the original, this song still kicks some major ass. Yes it may not have those awesome drums and it's missing a few OG lyrics...but so what?!?! The boys rebirthed this song. Everything I thought I would dislike about it (from all the stuff I heard) is actually everything I love about it. I finally got to hear it for the very first time at MSG 1 (the night of all nights) and I was in absolute heaven!! Now there are 2 versions of this song to love. Awesome!!
