That’s definitely a bucket list item for me. There or New Zealand would be epic.

If we get a fall tour here in the US, I'm thinking we won't have announcement until February or March.

Last EU tour in 2014 , the fall tour was announced in early July for Oct dates.  Since Ed has said they won't tour in Oct again, that would assume Sept fall tour with a early June announcement is my guess.
    2018 - 8/8, 8/10
    2016 - 5/5, 5/8, 5/10, 5/12, 8/5, 8/7

    2013 - 10/12, 11/24
    2011 - 9/14

Ugh, that’s a long time to wait for some good news.  Hopefully rumors start leaking in early spring to keep us all going.

But, it can't be cancelled until it's announced first>LOL
  • Does anybody know when the second Amsterdam date is likely to be announced, is it usually as soon as the first date sells out? Is this likely to be soon after the first date goes on general sale?

For those of you from London, how's the security at the O2? I presume they'll have that place on virtual lockdown.
    Security will be very high

Good. Do they conduct security to even get in the vicinity of the arena, not just to get inside?
Just to get in. I doubt there is security just around the area.

I was there a couple of nights ago. You can get into the venue which has about 40 restaurants etc without security but you go through an airport scanner to get into the area where the gigs take place. They have a ban on bags above a certain size in that part of the O2 as well.

    20/06/2012 + 21/06/2012 - Manchester Arena

    30/07/2012 + 31/07/2012 - EV solo - Hammersmith Apollo, London

ok, Europe announced, let's talk USA rumors! sounds like a stadium tour to some degree is possible. Someone posted a dream list of stadiums and Dimi didn't shoot it down. Actually seems very possible he is on to something with Wrigley and Fenway rumors for late summer
How late is Fenway are we thinking? I have heard September which would put it either September 1st or 20th weekend.
I heard Labor Day weekend for Fenway

I'm bored of reading Alternative Nation articles citing "expert" dmitrispearljam as a source for tour rumours.
Give me some actual news and not speculation from someone who is not a source.
i have nothing to do with that site..they use my name for their own purpose
as for me,i dont post rumors or speculation
i post information which are legit.and .been proved every time
To clarify....I think they need to stop making article after article to fill their site. I wasn’t doubting your info. That site used to be alright but it’s just click bait now.

I saw someone posted in this thread that the US will get a stadium tour next year. That has been my sense for 5 months now. Bruce , U2, Dave Matthews, GNR & Metallica all do stadium tours. PJ will try out a US Stadium tour in 2018. Looking forward to it. Hopefully a few smaller teaser shows will precede the tour. Maybe Ten Club only????
  • Does anyone know anything about the Milan venue? Is it a good place for a show? Is it easy to get to from MXP? Etc. Just scored London 1 and 2 in public sale and deciding whether to hit Milan or go straight home to Canada.  Thanks

PJ ain't got the balls to try doing 10C only shows.

There have been rumors of a stadium tour in this thread, and perhaps some maybe/sorta/kinda tentative, possibly genuine information. Some people have info, but so far it's been mostly hints and implications. In all fairness, touring plans can change, so it's wise to take everything with a grain.

That being said, Wrigley and Fenway are the most persistent rumors. Apparently there's at least one other venue in the ether. I don't know if I'd call 2 or 3 stadiums a "tour", but a knowledgeable person has stated that the US will get something in 2018.

They are over due, but given the unprecedented lack of shows this year I think just about anywhere could be on the agenda
