Think Pearl Jam will ever come back to Asia or play Africa for the very first time?
    Probably not.
Why do you think that is? I understand Africa is quite difficult if not impossible, but Asia? Japan at least?

I honestly have no idea. I guess I'm going on the fact that they haven't payed there in over 14 years. It's seems that contemporaries like U2 for instance don't seem to be going there anymore as well.

I don't think the 2003 Japan tour sold that well.  I think at this point in their careers they don't want to tour as much so they will go where they know they can make the money they want to.

I could see them going back to Japan for a Festival like Fuji Rock or something. But can’t imagine a mini tour like they did in 2003.

I agree there´s a clear pattern in the last decade or so, maybe it has to do with money but I remember also Eddie saying there are some places where it is easier to tour, perhaps there´s too much bureaucracy in some countries and it´s not worth the energy it would take to set a show there.
As long as they keep touring nearby my location I guess it´s alright.

True.  Could be.  May be when the kids are older they may want to take the family to Asia.

And once again : join us as we celebrate #PJFinland25 - 25 years since the previous show.
    #Victoria26

They played two bar shows here in Victoria in 1991, and never came back :(  It's been 26 years since the band played on Vancouver Island.

edit:  to be fair, i'm not sure there's a venue anywhere around here big enough to contain them :)

If there is any spring activity in the states, the earliest we hear anything is January.  If stadiums are on the menu for summer, we usually get a January or Feb notice.  If fall mini tour holds true, some summer Euro stops could lead up to a couple of stadiums then the 10-12 sw/west coast swing could be in the cards.

There are no rumors to them playing Firefly, it is just people wishing for them to play a festival.
