I recently purchased an "official" print of this on eBay a few months ago. Since then three have appeared online. I waited for decades to buy this poster. I'm now concerned these are not legit. Take a look on eBay and let me know your thoughts. What are the chances the person I bought from has a second or third (they do, supposedly). Smells fishy and I feel like I may have been taken for a ride.

  • And since I bought mine this has happened

  • All kinds of fakes out there - also on Etsy in smaller sizes. There are a few folks on here that might be able to help out who know their stuff. @pdalowsky is one of em'

    In doubt,
  • I understand you concern however I've been tracking this and other classic prints in ebay the last few years to witness sale of one often "loosen" other sellers. It doesn't help that the prices for posters appear to have exploded in the last  few months (like the pitt 13). I had the concern a year or so ago when a Green Lady went for only 1K but I generally don't think there is much counterfeiting out there. After all in the wider art market these prints are small fry
  • I would like to see some close ups of koziks signature, in a little concerned that it's not numbered out of 500, the others I have seen in the past are numbered bottom left corner and signed bottom right. (Kozik92) I would like some input from others about it not being numbered out of 500. Theses prints do show up sometimes with a couple being available at a time but it comes in waves. I can tell you that the original is very large, typical to kozik, I don't have exact measurements but it is close to 24x36" , I hope this helps a bit:)

  • Im sorry it's signed (kozik93)

  • The size of mine is large. It is signed Kozik93 in lower right but is not numbered
  • I agree on the selling waves. Once people realize the price has tripled or quadrupled they tend to sell. I have a Kozik RHCP/Pearl Jam/ Smashing Pumpkins poster that only has Kozik signature, not numbered, and a Pink Lady numbered, but not signed.

Some were signed and numbered, some have neither and some were signed at a later date but not numbered.

that was the story I got when I bought mine.

mine is signed but not numbered, I think it's more about people coming out of the woodwork to cash in when a big sale happens.
