    I doubt it, unless they scrapped whatever plans they had and started from scratch. They had a picture of a test pressing in the May 10 newsletter saying it was in production, and it wasn't until May 18th that Chris passed. Something dedicated to Chris would be appropriate for the 2017 single, but I don't think it would make sense to "retroactively" dedicate something to Chris that is technically for the 2016 single. They're just behind schedule - plain and simple.

    More convinced than ever it will be something from Murphy's. Would explain the delay, too. They wanted to wait until the movie and soundtrack were released.

    I thought singles were released to hype the album, not the other way around?

    I’m starting to lean in this direction as well. A double 2016/2017 of tracks not used in the film soundtrack from the shows or Murphy’s would make sense. There has to be mixed/mastered tracks that didn’t make the final cut of the film soundtrack. Like the 8 extras on the BR/DVD.

    Makes sense that they didn't want to steal the movie's thunder.
