No way I'd ever vote Corduroy a "weakest link"

I love RVM - a top 5 song for me. Unfortunately for it, Corduroy is a top 3 song for me.

I am sad about I Got Id.

I consider RVM one of the band's greatest. It's basically perfect.

RVM is a great song with equally great lyrics.

For me it comes down to lyrics because both are musical masterpieces, but RVM gets a slight edge.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Both songs are amazing. Doesn't really matter which one "wins". Stating the obvious ofc. But still.

True, they are both great. RVM edges out Corduroy for me, but just barely. Corduroy is one of those very few songs that I would be really happy to hear at every single show. RVM is too, but it's played less often... perhaps that is why I'm choosing it. Anyway, I agree with S_C. I don't really care which one wins this round.

RVM gets its turn this time around. Corduroy is, I think, more widely loved, but RVM edges it out for me.

I`m surprised by this early results, the campaign seems to be working.
Now, as for the potential final between Alive and the winner of this round, if it´s RVM ...

I think, and fair enough, that Corduroy might be getting more anti-votes since it already one the albums title a few weeks ago.

    I can appreciate that.

Corduroy was played 71 out of 72 shows in 2000; Mike got tired of playing it live. For that reason I shall pick rvm.
Plus the new bridge in corduroy has completely ruined the song. Why reinvent the wheel?

I was "this close" to voting the other way because of that new bridge in Corduroy. Just awful - even when you are at the show!

I love Corduroy but I also love RVM and I like what you say here, oftenreading.  RVM it is!

The rawness of RVM when first heard at the time when it first came out has a shadow called Corduroy.

I've always liked RVM more than Corduroy, that is all.

    Tough choice..............OBVIOUSLY!

    Live: RVM
Studio: Corduroy (don't like the new bridge Live, either)

In defence of Corduory, I could never get tired of it live. If RVM was played as often as Evenflow, I might get a bit tired of it live.
