On Wednesday, July 12, at 23:45, Italy1 will broadcast 'Virgin Radio at Firenze Rocks', a special on Florence Rocks presented by DJ Ringo and Paola Maugeri with Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard's performance videos.

    I listen to Virgin Radio all the time when I'm in the car (only radio around here who pass some decent amount of PJ).. I knew about this since about a week ago, and I will for sure record it straight off the TV.

    Holy shit this is great news. I have a fans bootleg at the moment that sounds really good but I would love to hear the real deal. Can't wait to hear Glen's tag of emotional tag of Smile and Eddies Black all over again.

    Does this mean that, seeing there is official audio being broadcast with (I presume) Eddie's permission, that there could be official boots??

    they've played 2 of his shows on pj radio and the dvd and we still don't have boots so i doubt it.

    Hasnt this happened several times before with alleged PJ/EV live streams only to not happen when the time comes?
    Not the least bit surprised.

    Yah there was that thing with global citizen where they delayed airing pj's performance without telling anyone, and we all assumed PJ didn't consent to the broadcast (but were then proven wrong 30 minutes later when it did broadcast).    The best one is from lolla brazil 2013, and I think it got pulled, and then fan backlash cause it to air at a later date.  I'm not sure why the guys (or maybe it's just Eddie) don't like the video going out.   Foo Fighters always seem to have proshot videos coming out of festival tv/webcasts etc.. and I don't think it hurts their brand :(

    I love Ed. I love his live show. I don't love the way he restricts access to that live show.
