I'd like to see someone fold a Lou's.

I could post a picture of a folded lou, but the mods closed the thread the last time I did that.

I think bacon is the only food that is more over-hyped than pizza.
I love pizza, but the best plate of pasta usually crushes the best pizza and the depth and subtlety of flavor can't compare with an expertly seasoned soup or sauce.

Says the guy that routinely gets his delicious kale and beet smoothie all over his beard and Chilean wool sweater while listening to Bon Iver lol.
Hahahaha hate Kale, love beets.  Hate sweaters, love wool socks.  No Bon Iver, but I do listen to enough bluegrass to still fit the profile lol

    I stand corrected lol

I just had a horrible mental image in my mind.

You've done your work without the picture.

    Sounds redundant lol

There's a fast food pizza buffet abomination called Cici's, and when one opened in our town when I was a teenager people told me I HAD to try the macaroni and cheese pizza...I did no such thing!

    Pizza and desert in one....lol
How bad could it be?? Just hot melted chocolate on some thin crust - I bet it's tasty, if  you like chocolate.

My go-to pizza place does a mac n cheese pizza... I've never ordered it. It just sounds too heavy. They also put potatoes on a couple of their pizzas, which is also really weird to me.

Me 'n Ed's does a perogy pizza that is pretty good too.

    * I'm referring to your potato comment.

Yeah, I was aware they exist... but it just doesn't appeal to me. I'd way rather just have some good perogies.

Had pizza last night at our wing night spot.  Meat lovers w/green pepper added.  I usually add jalapenos instead of bell peppers but I was already feeling the GERD and figured the sauce & meats would be enough to agitate it, didn't need jalapenos sending it over the top.

    Nope.

The pizza is essentially a perogy: The crust is the dough. Potatoes, cheese, green onions, and bacon are the toppings. Sour cream added. It's really good.

So it isn’t a pizza. Pictures would help.

I have a dear family friend who makes a "pierogi pie" that is fucking amazing.  It's pretty simple, lasagna noodles layered with a good pierogi filling.  Very fucking tasty.
It settles into a brick after a few days and then it's like pierogi hashish.

The next time I'm in Boston Pizza, I'll order perogy pizza and take a picture for you.

Note the chain's name: Boston Pizza. The world considers Boston as the pizza mecca (followed by Chicago- famous for deep dish). New York is famous for paper thin crust, smothered in Ragu and cheese that slides off the paper thin crust when you pick it up to eat it.
