    I did it differently for ny style....launched at 700 degrees instead of like 900, then turned gas completely off and waited 2 minutes. turn pie and wait another 2 minutes....turn gas back on on high for another minute or two turning every 10-15 seconds.

    You turn the gas off right before the pie goes in or wait two minutes then put the pie in?

    Sometimes 1x per month or longer.  Sometimes 1x per week.
    With a 10 yr old, we are constantly asked to get pizza.

    When I was working full time one of our buyers was always getting sales reps to get us lunch and he would always get us Pizza I grew tired of it! But now being semi-retired I crave for pizza at least once a month or more if I’m looking at this thread

    We rarely eat it. Maybe I grab slices or personal pizza at our local spot once every two-three months. I am more or less off all carbs except white rice. My two teenagers eat it outside the house more often. I do keep a box or two of Stouffer's deluxe french bread pizza in the freezer for emergency munchie purposes. I loved it as a kid and it still satisfies when I crave it (usually after a few drinks late night). My daughter likes to make "pizza toast" which is basically Japanese thick sliced bread or a bagel with tomato sauce and cheese. But we do not eat it very often.

    Carbs = life.
    :lol:
    *being a 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ *

    Actually have to add carbs,in a significant way, while training for distance events.
    Testing and then nutritionist found that I was very much under on carb intake during training and runs.

    Wasn't pizza necessarily,but at least I knew I could eat and be happy.

    What I hate is shitty pizza.
    Have a family birthday party we are going to, tonight, and I'm pretty sure it will be weak pizza.

    Sneak in a bottle of good hot sauce. It makes crappy birthday party cheese pizza taste good.

    We make pizza at home maybe 4-5 times per year.

    In total we probably have pizza maybe twice per month on average. Less in the summer more in the winter.
