     that Detroit looks amazing.
I was gonna say the same about the house. Non-burnt crust looks perfect
I m pretty sure that is cheese “burnt”
on the Detroit, not crust although I could be wrong.
The canadian people have no clue what they are looking at lol. They are saying: Where s the toppings?! Why don’t you put sausage, pineapple, broccoli and kale salad on it? Plain is boring!
    Spirtual
is asking himself, “did they cut that with scissors?
Oh for sure. That Detroit looks great. Burnt cheese is all good in my book. That other crust just looks picture perfect for some reason. It even has a nice bit of flour on it. Makes me want pizza but I had Mexican tonight.

Similar to Sicilian and grandma pies but not exactly the same as either.

    yup.
Only on Fridays for us. It’s our version of fredagsmys, but we call it “family movie night.” The kids get to eat pizza (sometimes popcorn, too; no sugary soft drinks, though) and watch a movie. Each member of the family gets a turn per week to pick the pizza and the film.

Detroit style is pretty damn good.  There's a chain called Jets Pizza that does Detroit style pizza...it's pretty damn good for a chain.

Being from the south shore area which is south of Boston but not Southie which is an area of Boston, bar size pie are king, most notably Lynwood Cafe in Randolph, MA.  If you ever find yourself in the south shore be sure to stop at this place, absolutely incredible!

Those South Shore folks are all about their bar pies.

Cape Cod Cafe is a good frozen one that we can buy at grocery stores up this way.

I think this is more of a north jersey thing than our neck of the woods.

The Rum House near Times Square used to have a good bar pie—that is, before it got a Jenny Jones makeover.

Yeah when I moved to the south shore in 2006, the prevalence of bar pies was something I hadn't experienced on the north shore.

Was told locally to go to Poopsies in Pembroke...was a good recommendation.

Ahh, kinda like when waitresses bring out the regular Coke in just the glass, Diet with a straw, and Dr. Pepper with two straws.
