Surprised it sold out so quickly, the artist must have quite a following, his other stuff on his website looks cool, but this one didn't do much for me.
I appreciate your civility - not so common these days. And I certainly respect your opinion as well. I count 14 posters on Ed's 2017 tour so far - if we include the multi-date tour poster - and, to my eye, only four are what I would think of as stellar or classic. I would rank them: Mumford #1 Klausen #2 Pittides #3 Jackson #4 The rest, to me, are either ugly, juvenile or downright hideous. But again, I'm not bothered by it - I'm saving a lot of money not buying posters I would not frame and hang. I guess my real question is - how do some of these posters even get approved by Ed's people?
And it sold out. Such a creepy poster, with Ed leering between the diver's legs while an empty bottle (albeit with message inside) floats nearby. Also, has anyone else noticed the new trend of artists labeling posters as "variant" when they are the same colors and paper as the show edition? Does signing and numbering a poster truly make it a variant? What say you?

The Ames colors are different for the variant. I haven't seen an artist say variant if the material its printed on or the colors are notdifferent

Saving a lot of dough on sub-par posters this tour.

The Mumford and Klausen prints are exceptional. I really like the colours of the Ames, but not the actual design.
