NOPE...Big old PASS for me. This one is worse than the Dublin poster!!
The steam punk thing works on EMEK posters but not here?
Anything else about this poster we know about? Is the hand from the "Brabo" legend?
It's not the "steampunk" that bothers me...
To me...the background is just so "busy" & way too bright for the colors of the bird.
This is one of those times where less would be more!!
And the flower background falls a little flat, no?
I saw a pic of the poster from a fan and it looks much better then what this image shows especially the flowers. That said I would buy it if it was a show I went to but will pass for now.
Welker Wednesday's are back, and this time, we’re adding AJ Masthay to
the mix! We’ve got four fantastic gig posters from David Welker and AJ
Masthay this week.
David’s poster, from Eddie Vedder’s Cork,
Ireland tour date, takes us back to the sea, with a salty octopus laying
claim to a submerged sea captain’s boat. Eye-eye, matey. As a special
surprise, we’ll also be releasing a letterpress art print version of
David’s gig poster as well!
AJ’s Dead & Company gig posters
are all about Boston, showing the lovable Dead mascots taking over
Fenway Park and touring Boston in style.
David and AJ’s prints will be available for purchase Wednesday (6/21) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!

If I can't get the Welker AP tomorrow, which I probably won't. I will have a Munk Dublin AP to trade.

They're sold out already, don't bother...
Ha! I was told there were limits on some recent sales and it turned out to be false

I love the poppy background, but I'm pretty sure it's the close ties Canadians have with the poppy that makes me love it a little extra. The hand is what seems a little too simple in the picture bit even that I don't mind so much.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
The only reasonable thinking behind releasing Welkers prints with Dead and Co. Fenway prints is it will keep the flippers from buying both...or so I hope.
