Definitely my least favorite. The lyrics are cringe worthy at times. Don't hate it, but not a high point in their catalog. Not even a fan of it live.
"I'm volunteer amputee" is pretty good though. Sonically, it's just a jumbly mess though. Agree with pjfanwillneverleave about his voice at that one point though.
I use my father as a gauge for music sometimes, he has an entirely open mind and a brilliant musicians ear. He doesn't care who or what, he only cares for good songwriting and performing. He jumped into the alternative "grunge" sound with both feet at 45 years old, after sustaining himself with the classics through the long drought of the 80's. Having no prior expectations on what Pearl Jam should sound like all these years later, he loves the songs from LB that are most trashed here. I'm on his side, Future Days for instance, is an excellent song (not a great studio arrangement) that someone like Neil Young would be proud to have in his catalogue.
Future Days. Without a doubt. My least favorite PJ song ever.

Definitely, it's all over the place. The last verse is a high point though.

Sirens
Sirens is such a weird song for me. When it first came out I just could not believe how syrupy it sounded. It's not a BAD song (I don't believe there is such a thing) but I it just bugged me. And then, for a while I really liked it. And then tooth decay set in. So it must be extracted. Sorry, Sirens fans!

Future Days i don't get the hate for My Father's Son and the Let the Records Play..there are much worst songs on first round.. Pendulum for winner, or Infallible..

Agree with everyone who thinks Sleeping By Myself doesn't belong on the record.
Strongly disagree with anyone voting for Sirens.

You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
